We had this one before, and I also distinctly remember a WTE called 'Bridging the gap', though that doesn't seem to be in the list. Maybe it's just me? The one I linked was pre-HOTS, though, so maybe it's worth revisiting the subject...
That's a pretty hard one, but I like that. It was a bit more relevant before HotS when we didn't really have snow tilesets and people made deserts using the Xil desert sand texture, but I'm sure some cool stuff can come out of that. I'll use it in the weeks to come.
No worries, I can barely expect everyone who wants to post a suggestion here to check every single WTE we've had so far =P. Don't be discouraged from posting any other suggestions that may come up.
Plus, we haven't done something like this in quite a while. I may do something similar soon.
You mean something like this or this? I think we've also done a WTE where people got to pick their own two themes from previous WTE's, but I can't find it right now. If we haven't done one where people got to choose which WTE's to combine, that might be an interesting theme...
Do That Doodad can be used as a filler, but otherwise I just pull subjects out of thin air depending on any thought I get. There's plenty of procedural things to adjust and a million different possible landscapes (and even more combinations of those), but keeping each theme truly original is pretty damn challenging. Straight up using ideas posted here gives me some slack for a week, usually.
Suggestions help, though - I run out of ideas every week =P. There's some stuff I can use in here, though. I've also been meaning to use Joecab's wireframe idea but haven't gotten around to coming up with an easy way for everyone to make use of wireframe as to make the WTE accessible.
I like the idea, Joecab. Could you put up a small guide (thinking 4-5 lines) as to how to achieve this effect exactly? I'd like to use it for a WTE, but the issue is that it would require people to turn all their doodads into wireframes before they could play around, which is hard to do. If we can make the concept more accessible, I'll definitely use it.
I gave up on WTE #138 because I was way too late and ended up being way too busy. Figured we could treat like it never happened and 137 would be extended. If I put it up now there's only 4 days on the theme left.
Then again, I can extend it. Might as well then, I guess.

What the hell is Mozared day?

We had one a couple of weeks ago as a celebration of the WC3 models being released - that didn't have a lot of submissions, if memory serves.

I like this idea. Now all I need is something grand for WTE #200.
PSA: The links to WTE 1 through 35 have been broken a long time, but I just fixed them. You can now browse older WTE's again at your leisure.

Done! Thanks for the reminder! :D
If I haven't done that within a couple of days, remind me again.

This is a brilliant theme. Next week.
