videos... I actually read 3-4 similar books. As I may have mentioned you before on the irc, I am pretty curious about pre writing history.
What one isolated thing? I can make such numbers up for anything.
Surely these ancient civilization known exactly the size of the earth, but they werent clever enough to use the same measurement units. Its like that you want to build something that represents 1 km and you build it to 10 miles. But even if you dont use different measurement units, its pretty easy to find things that will be a similar number if multiplied... But yeah none writing civilization was obviously smart enough to know how big the sun's diameter...
Measuring bunch of things, then searching anything to fit into it in any type of measurement unit has nothing to do with mathematics. Its quite sad that so many book on pre writing history tries to do this, while none of them provide any statistical probability on it...
Also its funny that most of the used units in such claims was obviously wasnt present at the time. Its true that its very likely these unit's might base on old measurement units, but the ratios are very different...
Here is a small demonstration, how to make up things: Lets pick some data on you, you made 74 post and your post was the 37th post here. Now lets pick Alpha Centauri distances from here (since thats the closest star system, thats a perfect candidate to pick for crazy shit stuff), its 41.5 trillion km, which is 277,600 AU (earth to sun distance) which is almost 74*37*100=273,800 (I multiplied it with 100 because it was centimeters and we had to make it to meters), there is only 1% difference! You must be part of somekind of elit!
(note: I worked here in a much smaller data set compared to the guys who made this ridiculous things)
Btw, GPS is calibrated by atomic clocks, you mean people 5000 years ago people had atomic clocks?
@Stewox: Go

hmm, you wasnt familiar with the quote:

You dont want to bring that discussion here, because here you will be banned. (remember religion thread)
Anyway, Tide goes in, tide goes out and nobody can explain it....
