i must admit that Blizzard did a good job in past few weeks, most of my data props got fixed. Just recently figured out that global animation loop issues i was complaining about caused by new actor flag "Automate Global Loops", so just need turn it off. Also there are plenty of new substituting actor events that needs to be used instead of old ones (like "MoverStopped" gives more seamless transition for the missile attachments i used in my map).
Now the remaining eyesore is absense of weapon icon in hero panel UI, basicaly what Tya has already mentioned before. Also the return movers of the missile behave differently from my experience. Occasionaly return speed is extremly slow (from what i saw it seems to depend on distance). Though i'm not sure if it is bug or maybe there is option somewhere that i missed.
At least that is for data module, i don't know what bugs still present in trigger/terrain/UI, etc, since i'm rarely working somewhere else than data.
PitFalls: CursorActors (CActorSplat/CursorSplat) will incorrectly attach the model to the Caster when Cursor is hovering over Button, but will correctly attach to the Cursor once the cursor moves away from the button. ie: "Abil.xxxx.Cursor" will (incorrectly) behave like "Ability.xxx.ButtonHoverOn"
Solution: I wish i knew.
It's not a bug, they make it similiar as Dota 2 and HotS works. There is some option to turn it on/off but sincerely, i have no touched this one yet.
This can only be caused by your own actor event config.
Check your actor events again.

Check my map from page 3 Renee, please. The impact model of the Archon's ability (damage nearby units at melee range) and Buff Impact model of 1st warhound ability doesn't show up. I have only blue-ish lighting but the particle animation not appearing.
Could you plz check it, maybe this is local problem and i need to reinstall the game from scratch?!
Also, do you know why the "Transfer" flag in launch missile effect doesn't work anymore? Maybe it requires some additional setup before use?
I have framerate cap set to 60 in Variables.txt to lower the GPU heat, but with this patch it doesn't matter what value i put behind the "frameratecap" it always capping it to 50. I know that my monitor got higher than that, so why is this happening? The game also runs a little bit slower when this turned on. Anyone got that issue?
open the Lazer Bots ability from this map i made for sc2mapster hero entry hosted by Aleyviper. Do you rly think those wizards help me to configure that shit? This is just a few abils i made not so long time ago, its not nearly the scale of my main project. This patch fucked up 3 of 4 of my abils even from that single hero map.
1) The global loop animation issue with turret (4th skill)
2) Global Loop animation issue with 1st skill buff visualisation (GLStand doesn't play for DominationImpact.m3 model)
3) Using Laser Bots just kills sc2 completely. (as i observed it appears that the issue is "Transfer" (behavior) flag from the "LaserBotLaunchAttack" effect. If turn this flag off it won't crash, but will loose intended functionality, so not considered as a solution. So basicaly Transfer behavior via Launch Missile effect is broken and need a fix from Blizzard-side)
Also for some unknown reasons they removed Icon texture of that weapon (as i remember i used Ultra Capacitors upgrade from campaign icon)
All that shit happened just for 1 (one) unit. with the latest patch.
edit: Ok the impact model of the Archon skill sketch doesn't display properly too :D
edit 2: Also the Bots wierdly jerking off the position after return which something that didn't happen before.
edit 3: Most surely some bug with movers, occasionaly the Bots return speeds is extremly slow.
i just opened my main map with a huge pack of data abilities which i was polishing and redoing as i learned new better methods over the years. And guess what? half of them doesn't work and using some of them causing game to crush with a critical error. I spend so much time learning the data editor, i won't kill any more of my time fighting with this bugs.
Wow... this patch is a disaster. Some models with global loops doesn't play animation in my previous actor setup (like domination beam impact). I saw some new actor messages for global loop but i'm not sure if i need to use them. The global loop macro doesnt solve the problem too. It seems some old models from Wings of Liberty need to be fixed.
However i found some neat change too. The button tooltip now update properly , so i can use unified tooltip with upgrade value reference formula for all lvl of ability. For example previously if you have a tooltip like "deal dref=effect,damage,amount + dref upgrade,amount" your button didnt update the value in learn submenu as you click on it, the changes were applied only next time you hover the cursor on it. Now it works properly and applying changes immediately after click.
