Anybody else using Chinese have any similiar issues? It doesn't seem to happen with RUSSIAN, only Chinese (probably lots of special kludges for Chinese servers).
Yes, it's because chinese have separate server. I also had the same issue. You could try to edit EditorVariables.txt file and change zhCN language, i don't remember but it can help.
Pitfall: Teleport range for Teleport effect does not work. When i set it to 100 or other values and tries to teleport i receive a message "Can't find placement location". All teleport flags such as Test Cliff, Test Fog, Test Zone are disabled.
Solution: None. For range less than 363 works placement validation and it prevents from teleport. For range bigger than 363 it ignores placement validation. For my map i uses global blink with range 400, but problem is that unit can blink inside other units, because it's ignoring placement... Blizzard fix it please.
Not sure if this is because of 3.0 but this is my first time encountering this
New pitfall: Importing new .dds or .tga files raises the error "(Core: a required object could not be found)"

YES, i also have this, i found that if you import .tga file with short name for example 0.tga or 1.tga works, omg, sometimes .dds works, but why and when i don't know...
New pitfall: After patch 3.0.3 refund does not work when unit sells items in end of range of sell ability. So, if shop has ability with range 1, units selling items, but refund does not work. It works with range less than 1 but not at end of range.
Solution: Use triggers to fix it, i have not found data editor solution, seems it's a terrible bug.
i just opened my main map with a huge pack of data abilities which i was polishing and redoing as i learned new better methods over the years. And guess what? half of them doesn't work and using some of them causing game to crush with a critical error. I spend so much time learning the data editor, i won't kill any more of my time fighting with this bugs.

Pitfall: Units can't sell items to buildings/shops.
Solution: Create Fake empty inventory ability and add it to all buildings/shops.
