@TheAlmaity: Go I asked you which types needed more models and I remember you told me grass type had already enough models... Now I'm here getting lazy to finish a water type >.>
@zeldarules28: Go You start sounding a little like blizzard Zelda. "Here! We are working on this super-hyper-awesome feature you guys are going to love it! We can't really show because it isnt finished." Just don't shelf the whole idea ok? ;-)
@Vjetar: Go I don't have much experience with PvP, but my cousing does, he even plays in small tournaments with the kids from his shool, and he agrees with me, hit hard and fast and nothing will beat you. But then again he says the other kids aren't that really good. I think maybe the other strategies are harder and thus it looks like this is the better strategy, when it is in fact easier to do right.
Maybe pokemon fan sites have more accurate answers for that.
That said, I will try to keep a good amount of more "advanced" moves that have less straightforward uses (Like Baton Pass - Most players will probably ignore it, some will see it's actually really useful and use it. Same goes for most other status moves - People will instinctively just want the hardest hitting thing they can get without thinking about how effective it really is compared to moves that don't deal direct damage), and if a certain strategy becomes dominant, I'll either nerf it (If it really is too strong), or there most likely will already be a good counter to it and I'll just have to make people aware of it and get them to use it.
I really hope that works for Starmon, because in Pokemon games the hit fast and hard strategy usually overcome everything thrown at you. Some Full Revives in the bag and you were invincible.
@zeldarules28: Go Whatever the alpha version is I'm sure you guys added a Soul Filcher trainer who has some amaaaazing Starmons in his team... he doesn't have that sponge starmon yet... but he will! XD oohhh maybe he could be hanging around the beach, near one of those awesome umbrella doodads... that would make sense if he trains aquatic starmons... XD
@TheAlmaity: Go Thats great news! I can't wait to see what Mozared will create with the new doodads! Ohhh and I think I should rush that sponge starmon if I want to playtest it!!!
I'm actually in favor of some more or less useless Starmon if they add variety to the table. Get the Water type in Pokemon games as an example: There are usually lots of water pokemon and many of them aren't even candidates to your team, but they come in many interesting shapes and colors :-)
Ohhh and this line of thought make me think I can work on a 'Corsola' Starmon using one of those Xil doodads...
@zeldarules28: Go DNA lab huh? I can foresee something strange happening and a new type of starmon being created from that. Think of Castform... or maybe Deoxys-like Starmon.
Ohhhh and make this lab able to use DNA from fossils! C'mon you know you want to do it! ;-)
@BladeOfAiur: Go You an learn how to use Blender. Check the tutorials section, PrintIn made some good tutorials on how to convert models for SC2. I started using it only about an year ago and I had no modelling experience, now I make my own custom models.
@TheAlmaity: Go Ohhhh I was planning a rock+psychic model! Damn I think I'll have to move my efforts elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of using WoW models, as those look clearly off among SC2 models, but I reckon converting them is a lot easier and faster than making new models.
And you have an elephant Starmon now. I already started a ghost model based on the mammoth fossil doodad, as a fossil revival that went wrong or something like that. But now it doesn't seem the best of ideas. Can I suggest using the trilobite fossil as a Starmon? I could give it all the necessary attachments and what not. Ohh and are you planning to use the fossil idea?
@TheAlmaity: Go I'm not sure I can do it. You know, I had no modelling experience before the first model I uploaded to mapster. I'm still learning the tricks here. That being said I know models can use multiple textures (many SC2 models do), but my ability to make it depends on the original model, so you should PM these files. I never touched WoW and I'd like to keep my hands clean ;-)
@TheAlmaity: Go A teleporter huh? I'll think of something. Made me remember of Chrono Trigger... I wonder if your teleporter had a chance to malfunction and send the player to a new secret zone, with some never-before-seen starmon... that would be an awesome secret in this map ;-)

@DaFunk86: Go You didn't fight much then. I usually had a lot of extra money, I wish I could use it to buy Master Balls XD
To break the 'huge wall of text cycle' a little: any new screenshots?

I had some ideas for a rock+psychic model. Ahhh and I'm going to release a critter pack that may be useful to you guys.
