I used the texture ( 4x4 flame strip) from the original fire elemental, and added a SC2BlizParticle object in max to the model.
Played with the properties of the SC2BlizParticle object in Max and that was it...
Used WoW model viewer, exported the fire elemental to m2 ( original format ) and used the m2 importer, wich I needed to debug first. But it worked for chen and it worked for the fire elemental/
Been playing a bit with the SC2 Particle Systems, man it has a HUGE set of properties ...
Anyway after 500 exports, tries and errors, I think it looks pretty ok.
Here are some shots, model can be downloaded from the files ( once it has been accepted)
Hey guys, on the request of having a regular model, meaning it is easy adjustable with some attachment point and a lot of cool animations.
I came up with an rag-doll for this regular guy.
It is a contueing thing and the max file will be available when some basic stuff is done.
Added team color and decal from Army Of Two - The Devils Cartel
Model is based on the Aaron Gaines's Army of Two - 40th Day on the PSP who also worked on the model for Diablo 3. You can check out all of his work here: Goons
Anyway, please give me some feedback, and maybe someone can tell me how I could test out the grenade my character throws?
Just verified the Ghost model, it has a red stick of some kind with a melee attack which has a Visibility track so I used that and it seems to be working :)
Also added a small melee attack, nothing fancy though
Wel I didn't do anything on the model, I just exported it from WoW model viewer, so model complaints you need to talk to Blizzard for that :)

Cause I'll be building this model for rigging, skinning and animating especially for SC2 Editor
It is based on The Regular, which you can download and do whatever you want with it :)
Let me know if there is anything else I can add.

Here are some of the faces Modeling Event
The texture is the main mail colonist texture, which are 6 or 7 in the game, the model is texture accordingly so you can switch whenever you like.
The head, I redid that, not happy with the original one from Blizzard. The body is based on the Spectre, but with no armor.
And here are some WIPs
