Can you please tell me how I make only 2 players able to take one race and other 2 players take the other race. So you alwase have 2 players of one race and 2 of the other race.
So I found this guide to be extremely useful, because I am embarking on creating a map, and another method I was trying to use for picking characters out of the lobby wasn't resolving so well. However I have a bug with this, I do not have the option to choose hide dialog for (Player group((Triggering player))) it simply does not exist in there, any ideas on how to get it to appear?
EDIT: So I figured out how to get the last step to work properly, it wasn't posted in your main that you need to change (all players) to convert player to player group and then choose triggering unit. Thank you for the guide though it was extremely useful and I hope my edit helps someone else if they have the same problem as I did
Do you happen to know how to do this for 2 players? So that the game waits for both players to choose a race, and then spawns both players at the EXACT same time?
I am having 3 problems, one is that the units originally spawned don't die, do if I set my race as zerg I will have a hatchery and then click protoss then I get a nexus next to it. Also when I test the map it says
Scri:event response 'Event Player' has no matching event? Near line 132 in gt_click_init() in Mapscriptgalaxy
The last thing is that my buttons don't say protoss, zerg etc they say Param/value/DAB68416 is one.
Help anyone?
edit: I fixed the Originally spawned units by taking out the spawn starting units trigger out of the melee initialization trigger. Still have the other 2 problems though :P
