i have one question. when i train/purchase the item, it does not go into my inventory but instead appears next to the pawn shop. any ideas why this happens?
But it's perhaps linked with another problem : i have 2 shops in my game. When you buy an item on the first shop, and try to buy another item on the second shop, the item of the second hop appears next to the shop, not in my inventory.
make the interact ability on the shop , autocast only for heros... so in autocast filters put in " required heroic"
this is assuming you only want heros to purchase items right? , if you have regular units buying items, then make sure the regular units have the inventory ability.
in my map i made 2 interact abilties, one for heros alone (shops) and one for units and heros (merc shop)
i'm still waiting for your tutoial to load, but this came to mind while i was waiting, yu know of a way to make it so it sells abilities instead of items too,
i'm working on a custom game similar to the old Footman Frenzy from wc3 but with a few major changes to it and one of them is 2 different kinds of shops 1 that sells you several different abilities for all your units to benefit from, and another is a building that also sells abilities but instead of it actually like selling abilities for your unit is sells its abilities use to the player like if you walked up to a protoss mothership and paid it to use a mass recall that pulls in all enemy units to the center of the map something like that?
as far as the paying a mothership to port everything, just give the mothership the ability make it neutral to the player, and add a cost to the ability of minerals.

you want upgrades not items.
