I have a problem with M3 scripts, I can't import any model every time it's give me this error.
I'm new with Blender, so sorry if it's an silly question! Thank in advance.
Thank you for your reply. I downloaded M3-addon from the first post, works fine now with Wing Of Liberty models:) Is there any option to load HotS models too?
TempestEx1.m3 also throws an error if that helps track things down for importing some HotS models (error attached)
Also, has anyone gotten the normal texture layer to show up in sc2 on a new model? I can take my normal texture layer and use it replace the one on a blizz model, export that, and it shows up correctly in the editor (using the cutscene editor with Render->Shader Mode->Normal Map Only). But if I use that same normal texture layer or even any of the blizz normal textures on a model I made, I can't get it to show. Diffuse, Specular, and Emissive work fine. I must be missing a flag somewhere, but it doesn't seem to be an option in the texture properties or any of the texture layers.
I've attached a map with a cutscene where the carrier model has a new normal texture layer I made, and the set of planes includes one with a normal texture layer from blizz, and another with the same normal texture layer as the carrier, and neither seems to show up on that one.
Sorry if it's something obvious that I'm missing -.-
I've tried HotS models and most of them are working! Thank you so much for your work and support!!
P.S. As a report, so far I have an error only with SMX1_KerriganInfestedT1.m3,

The PurifierMatrix model should now import. It has super long animations which makes the boundings calculatiosn take forever(I might optimize the export time of the boundings at some point and I also have planed to make it possile to export just 1 animation). The reexported PurieferModel does not show up properly in the SC2 Cutscene editor yet. if you need that let me know. If you can be give details what part of the model is causing it (materails, particles, a certain mesh, ribbons etc.) it would be great. You can remove the animations to speedup the export drastically. The export of the inner core works if you enable the saving in the new format, but please don't use it yet (other for testing), it might create corrupt files.
You are propably not using the newest version of the m3addon, since that model is working fine for me. Even the reexport looks almost correct.

I fixed the import issue with the infested kerrigan model. The export isn't working for some reason... (the model is invisible for some reason) I guess I have to work on the materials at some point.
Strange, for me the import works. I guess you are either using a different version of the PurifierMatrix model or you are using an old m3addon version.
Hey PrintIn, HornetRepairPanel_00.m3 imports without mesh. It's a doodad model. It doesn't give any error, simply there's no mesh, only armature with animations.
Not a Bug Report, but i cant seem to import multiple models at once, like you could in the old addon. Second model is always missing objects, meshes, materials, ribbons, particles and attachment point. All it loads is armature and animations.
Also, models saved as blend files cant be appended with their materials. Materials section is missing when trying to append.
I tried with older versions of the addon. Still cant append materias or animation, but at least you can load multiple models in the same scene. So its definitely not Blender 2.66

Hi, you aren't using the m3addon of mine. The this tutorial for installation instructions. Also the current m3addon only works with Blender 2.66.

The HotS models I tried so far could be imported. If you have issues with a HotS model let me know.

@println: Go It simply didn't show up in Blender, as if I never hit the Import button.

I can confirm file PurifierMatrix.m3 imported and works fine.
Checked some new files from HotS. As a report, file SMX1_Lasarra.m3 doesn't import. Full path - Assets\StoryModeCharacters\Protoss\SMX1_Lasarra.m3

There was an exception at import, I fixed it.
I am having a problem with the PylonXPReward.m3 model. When I try to import it, it shows this:
I have issues importing the ArthasIceCliff_01 model. Gives me some errors.
