(EDIT: make sure that you type in an (import path) that says "assets\textures\" and import all dds files (aslo known as textures).. and then import the m3 model files without an import path.)
for the noobs! open your editor after you have downloaded this to your desktop, through the save as option>
-open the zip files on your desktop and put the contents ( ending in m3 and dds) onto your desktop in no particular order>
-click the blue import button that has a white downward pointing arrow at the top of your editor window/screen>
-Right click in the white box of the winow that pops up, named "Imports -" blahblahblah.. Select "import files" in the right clicked pop-up menu>
-in the "Import Files" pop-up window this is where you put "assets\textures\" for the "Import Path" field to import all dds files (aslo known as textures)>
-go down this big list removing the chech marks that are not linked to your textures, leave "Desktop" checked ;always Import textures (ending with dds) first>
-press ok and do the same for M3 models files WITHOUT typing an import path(Leave that field blank)and save(the green disk at top of your editor screen)>
-Close and re-open the editor after you have saved in order to make sure that everything is updated.
If this dosent work move everything to root or just m3 file as this can also work...and if there isnt a assets\textures location you will have to type in new path assets\textures for the dds files. Really as long as none of the files are in there initail starting folder when imported (if there even in one) then it should work.
You can add that to the tutorial or just delete it but thought id throw it in.
@RanchBurner: Go To create those directories you need to right-click the file and select "Move File", then you create a new path. Once you have the directory you need you just have to "move File" then select that directory.

@DarcZaFire: Go
I tried this exactly how you said and it turned the models to spheres also my textures are tga
@himselfwins:
convert the files from tga. tga sometimes works. Sometimes it doesnt. dds and m3 are the only ones that i know of.
@JacktheArcher:
lol thx for your input.

How would you go about applying dds if the Model says the normal texture file for it is tga?
Rename the file ending.
Only the editor complains. SC2 engine is fine with wrong file endings.
edit:
Complaining = throwing warning.

Actually guys, I just figured it out. :) Thanks again SoulFilcher.
If I know that I don't want to use the assets in any more maps can I delete them from my desktop?
