Hey Guys i want to show u guys my first imported Character with Shoulders helmet and Weapons.
There is some problems though.
Since you have to import Shoulders, Weapons and Helmet seperatly, the Attachement will screw up when they are nor Rotated correctly.
That's why i rotated them in 3dsmax and imported. Lots of work to roatate and place them correctly. Because i have done that. Somehow the particles are not working. I didn't care so i didn't look into this. (and i really have no experience with 3dsmax)
For Clarification. All attachements move with the Character. So they don't freeze like they would if you rotate them in Galaxy Editor via SOp's
I have spoken to 2 very expierienced Data Editors about this, they also couldn't find out why they freeze when rotated via SOp's.
Not sure on this, you would need to ask that question in the thread about the modelviewer itself, you can find a link to that thread at the very very top of the tut
No idea, as I dont use any programs that Would tell me as such, as I said though, they are about the same. I had 35 lichkings fighting with no lag... youll be fine.

I mean, when I start up the program it asks me to browse the WoW-folder and when I done that to select a Locale file or something? But the pane I need to select the local file in is completely empty.
Aah thanks, at least I get into the program now... ...Im sorry, I starting to feel like a whiner by now... ...but uhm, once I want to view a model, or spell or whatever it gives me a memory reading error.

This might have been asked before, but uh, does the Dev version of WoW modelviewer also work with the UK version of WoW?
Cause when I start up Modelviewer and it asks me to select the WoW-folder, once I press OK it gives me an error that it cant find the WoW Data folder.

What's your wow version, live or beta? and what's wowmodelviewer version you used? could you provide userSettings\log.txt for more information.

Started as Administrator
Im always logged in as Administrator.
But the weird thing is. According to the log file its look for .../games/World of WarcraftData. Shouldnt that be .../games/World of Warcraft/data?

1) I think you can change path
2) dosnt matter what your logged in as, you need to right click and run as admin if your using vista or w7 sometimes.
