I think it would be cool if you added a section on the left side where it would show all the icons of the heroes and you could click them and jump straight to that hero. This would be especially nice for games that have like 10 or 20 heroes because players would go crazy scrolling through all the different heroes to get the one they like, where if you had the section you could just click on the hero you want and play them.
But besides that, this is a really nice system! Keep the good work up!
Have a problem did all things like in the Guide , but the Folder , Triggers names and so on are all Broken there is no Letter .

To everyone who gets blank triggers... its called "Localization". As you all know, all maps from different regions are f*ed up when it comes to text. I think localizing the map will make everything work again (get a localizer), or anyone not EU is seriously screwed. For me it all works perfectly cause i believe im in the same region as the SweetZombieJesus. This problem also happened when i helped a US friend with his map, and when he got his map back his triggers were also all blank. I DLed Shrink TD from here in phase 1 of beta and when i checked the triggers, they were also blank. Dont blame the maker, blame blizzard for being retards in this aspect...
So, as i said, search for a localizer, there are 2-3 here on mapster, and follow the instructions to localize this map, then hopefully your triggers will work. If not... Try giving each trigger and variable (including local variables) a random name, maybe it will get it to work.
Also, what i forgot to say, i like Shendoos idea about the icons. My map will most probably have 16+ heroes so icons will come in VERY handy. If SweetZombieJesus wont do this, i'll do my best to figure out how he specified which hero is being looked at and make all that myself and am gonna post it here (dont expect it anytime soon though if i am to make it)
I'll make something with those hero icons, keep the ideas coming, thats how it turns from a tiny system into a full fledged all around system :)
And i'll see if i can localize it, i wasn't aware of it yet (though i did see the same empty trigger thing myself when i downloaded someone else's map)
SweetZombieJesus, YOU dont have to localize it since it already is localized for you... everyone who's not in EU does >.< If the localizer has the option for different locales, then you could create a localized version for each region and upload every one of them, which would take a lot of time... I think its easier to just put a link to a localizer wherever you put a link to the map :p
Anyway, keep working on it, same reason as you said :) This could turn out extremely useful and be used in a lot of maps!
trigger works great, only problem im having is its not showing me my minimap, portrait, or any buttons after i pick my hero.
he can only melee attack and pick stat points :(
The ui (borders) shows up but the other elements like minimap, portrait, and buttons are missing, any suggestions?
the create hero trigger looks like

my old one was linked to a region instead of a point
Unit - Create 1 (Unit of type of unit [specific unit]) for player (triggering player) at center of Respawn Zone facing (270.00) degrees (No Options)
Respawn zone/point is a center point where all heroes are resurrected initially and handled by a trigger that ports them to their graveyard for each corresponding team (4 teams.)
so anyways in THAT trigger iv implemented a few things to try to fix it
Unit - Turn (Triggering unit) Status bar (on)
Unit - Turn (Triggering unit) Selectable state (on)
Unit - Turn (Triggering unit) Cursor state (on)
Unit - Turn (Triggering unit) Tooltips state (on)
the 'show Game ui' trigger event is dealt with a few times,
and yet i cant use any of my heroes abilities :( did i overlook something?
any help would be appreciated
So the Game UI is not being restored at all?
Do the custom dialogs still show?
My best suggestion right now is to wait till tomorrow, I'll release a brand new version of the library with many new functions and pretty much a massive overhaul - if that wont fix your problem, let me know with as many details as possible (preferably a map attached) and i will bughunt it
i fixed it by destroying a UI - Hide game UI for (All Players) from the initialization triggers and by throwing UI - Show UI for (All Players) all over the place lol. Anything that looked like it occured 60+ seconds into the game i threw a Show UI on it. You'd think the dialogues would be overlapping the game ui but the game ui is hidden by the start camera/hero creation trigger, and running that trigger twice in under a second makes it very difficult to get some elements of the UI to reload when you want them to. at least thats what it feels like. Works great now
I havn't checked out the trigger but it looks amazing!
With the risk of seeming to be stupid I will still say my suggestion so here goes;
Maybe make so you can limit players from having some heroes avalible in your optional section.
or maybe just make so the icons are turned off and there is a red text in the "hero info area" saying 'unavalible' and green for avalible.
I'm not asking this because i personally need this, but it seem to me as a good thing to incloud.

I just created my own camp heropickcam and copied the values on his map.
the place heropickpoint on the same spot as the virtual camera wireframe thing.
