Yeah so it removes limits..... but that would mean youd have alot of custom content right? It would have to be unlocked...
Why design a map that cant be uploaded to bnet.... I guess if you really want to make a 100 mb map then you can and you can play it with your closest friends. But other then that.... spend all that time and really nobody else can play it.
Sounds like a waste of time building the map if you ask me.

Maybe this person is designing a map that will take years to develop and they hit the caps for Battle.net Map size/count and want to test the map? I don't know, >.>
It was useful in the beta, it was the only way to play maps. It takes all of 5 minutes to keep maintained, so i'll maintain it for those who want/need to use it, :P.
Are you running the latest version of SC2? You're using the Mac Client and not Windows in BootCamp, correct? Also, you have the legal Beta, not a torrented crack/hack?
hi guy...
thumbs up for the awesome app!!
i have the cracked retail version of SC2 (which allows to play the campaigns) installed on my mac..
i tried running mapcraft but nothing happens... am i not doing it correctly? or this app just won't work with the cracked version?
if not, should i just uninstall it and install a beta version of SC2?
or is there any other apps out there that works with a cracked retail version anyone can recommend?
i'm a noob and only wish to play some single player mode with AI during my free time.

Ok, I took the sacrifice and deleted some custom stuff so that my map now has 10.3 mb size and upped in private on b.net. Works and I can go on.

I am quite certain this forum does not support illegally obtained/cracked versions of starcraft 2. You might want to edit your post ;)

umm this program what it allowed you to do ... was play custom maps online with a friend to test customs during beta......
there is literally no reason you should need this anymore...
and cracked versions are a no no
