Hello there! I am currently working on a custom campaign called "Ascension of Duran Reimagined". It is a remake of the classic SCI AoD by Mantidz that tries to "combine" the original story with new elements from LotV while also updating the gameplay. Check out the project page for more info.
Currently working on version 0.3.2. I am overhauling the Launcher aswell as the mission briefings. Achievements have been added also. Pretty exciting stuff! ^^
Small patch (v0.4.1) featuring mostly bugfixes has been released. I hope that I found everything, as going through each of the missions individually is quite tedious.
I have finished early versions of new upgrade icons for terran and zerg (Tychus-style). They are neccessary since you were able to research weapon/armor upgrades past level 3 in the original AoD, which I intent on replicating.
Anyways, you can find them in the assets if you're intrested or want to use them yourself.
Ok, I think some people are not going to like this, but I am cutting the boss fight from mission 5. It didn't really feel right. It's sad since it was the only boss fight in the original, but again, it just didn't feel like it fit in.
Oh well. At least the new version is close to release. The changelog is going to be the longest so far, mostly minor changes but some major ones are also mixed in. It will also include a new mission, so get excited!
I have been working hard the past weeks and I'd say the next update is about 2 thirds done. This time more content than just a single mission will be included. I have also introduced smaller quality of life changes to all of the past maps: The Achievement popups are animated now! ^^
Mission 6 has been released with the newest update, but the secret mission didn't quite make the cut. It'll definetly get patched in later tho, so don't worry.

Finished the new briefing UI. It's a mix between the HotS mission launch screens and the classic SCI briefings.
I need an opinion. Should I completely desaturate the icons of not awarded achievements or just slightly grey them out?
Version 0.3.2 is out! New score screens have also been added.
My original mission 4 prototype has officially been put to rest. ):
I have decided to recreate all of the classic AoD maps before adding anything new.
I am also considering to add DoW3 style sub-briefings.
First section of new mission 4 finished!
New version with mission 4 has been released! No sub briefings though. Couldn't quite make them look good.

Work continues to be done. I think I am finally getting a feel for the ulnar tiles.
