That's OK you can use whatever model you like. I'm just saying it's not worth it for me to make an attacking Stukov. Even though he can attack I'm sure nobody used him to kill the four zerglings that you fight after he's uninfested.
Anyways let's get back on topic :)
I am trying to see if I can get a decent Stukov going but I'm no pro voice actor I'm just having fun. I've been trying to recreate Fenix's voice for my own campaign and while it's not exactly like it should be I might be able to do Taldarin. Let me know what you think Gradius.
It's pretty much identical to HoTS's version. Blizzard seems to have based Stukov entirely on that concept art, as opposed to his brood war portrait/cinematic model.

It's a good start. What program are you using? You should clean up the sample a little bit before you apply the effects, to get rid of those clicks & pops. The ideal goal is to remove the noise floor completely. Any compressor or noise-gate should be able to do the trick. Fenix also needs a stronger flanger. As always, I'd be happy to volunteer my efforts to your campaign as well.
I'm using CoolEditPro it was suggested in a Protoss voice tutorial. Like I said I'm just now dipping my toes in the water with this stuff. I'll pm you later I'd love to get you involved in my campaign.
@TheTorrasque: Go None of his powers are psionic, he has zerg acid, and that kind of stuff. I remember I read somewhere Stukov was part of an experiment, to acquire information from Terran leaders and possibly test the efficiency of Infested Terran leaders. It had nothing to do with him having psionic abilities.
Yes most non-psionic Terrans are unable to keep their sanity and self-control, but that was exactly what the experiment tried to change, and we can see it succeeded. In the end Stukov is the most powerful infested Terran if we don't consider Kerrigan, and all that WITHOUT psionic powers, I guess that's why Abathur says someone is better at combining those strains than he is.
I wonder what the Swarm learned from Stukov's mind, and what they planned to do with it. One thing we can be sure is that they learned Earth's location. Will Blizzard ever use that for a plot?
I don't think Stukov was ever meant to be psychic. Ethan Stewart was an infested terran who was powerful yet also not a psychic. They probably only used a ghost for Stukov's SC1 sprite because it looked the most professional, not because he was psychic.
Oooh yeah Soul,there are no proof that Stukov had psionic powers.Sorry if i go OT,but do you know where i can find the beautiful ;
3 skulls that were the terran decal reward on HotS beta??
Stukov was infested by Kaloth, not by experiment of Confederation like Morik, the Infested Terran created by experiment of Confederation is called "Mutate" and they maintein the mentality sanity, the Zerg infestation transform you a decerebrate slave if you don't have a grat psionic power, Stukov was resuscitated by Kaloth's cells and later infested.
It's also possible that non psionic Terrans who are very strong-minded are able to retain some of their own mind rather than becoming slaves (such as Ethan Stewart, though he was somewhat of a special project by Kerrigan but even she wasn't sure if he would retain his mind through the process in the book) so maybe being psionic just increases the odds of retaining your mind.
But as said it sounds like Stukov was part of a specific attempt to make an intelligent Infested Terran.
Something else to consider: In HotS Kerrigan demonstrates how dangerous Zerg with Terran ingenuity can be. Maybe Kaloth had suffered Terran ingenuity and so was trying to make a commander capable of retaining that.
I suppose another possibility is that even if Stukov wasn't actually psychic maybe he had one of the high non Ghost level Psi-index, so not psychic but more 'latent psychic'. But that's just theory. As Soul said there's zero evidence he was psychic, and considering we only have three examples of Infested Terrans who retained their intellect, all performed by a powerful Zerg Individual (Overmind - Kerrigan, Kerrigan - Ethan Stewart, Kaloth and (presumably) Narud - Stukov) we don't really have conclusive common factors for infestation. Those individuals may well add an additional X-factor to the whole thing than just standard infestation.
Narud don t infested Stukov, he never comand zerg in HotS only terran and taldarim is command by Narud and he say the Zerg now is useless, and Stukov Said: I was betreyal and killer, launch in the Space, captureb by ZERG, resusitated and infestated, curated, tranfered at Moebius For study Protoss cure but they experimented. Narud don t infested Stukov, only made experiments in him
If even non psychic terran can reach that power....this means that they may even surpass...the hybrids! (Stukov is stronger than an hybrid, at least in the game)
I never said Narud commanded Zerg in HotS (though, technically the Hybrids he commands are half Zerg ;P)
What I was getting at is that Stukov said Moebius experimented on him, and Narud is in charge of Moebius. Ok I'm making an assumption here, but given his presence in Skygeirr and as I say being in charge of Moebius it doesn't seem terribly unlikely that Narud might have been involved in the experiments on Stukov when he was held in Skygeirr, which is what I was referring to, not when Kaloth experimented on him.
I also recall Stukov specifically wanting revenge on Narud for his re-infestation.
Mind you, I would not be at all suprised if Narud was somehow involved in the events of Resurrection IV somehow behind the scenes in some form (quite literally in his case)... afterall he does seem to like experimenting with Hybrids and such <<
Also, my apologies to Gradius for his thread getting a bit derailed ^_^'
@Kanitala: Go The glow is added through actor events, so its possible to change that one with Raynor's which is team colored, or simply remove it.
@TheTorrasque: Go There is no evidence for that... at all.
@GhostNova91: Go Is his eye color right? Because you know, you should use canon eye colors... XDDD
@SoulFilcher: Go
Somebody shoot me :)
@Zarxiel93: Go

That Stukov is damn sexy GN. Cleans up nice after those protoss nanites get to work on him. :P
The only thing we really have to go on for how infested Stukov looks during Res IV is this: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080503020141/starcraft/images/b/ba/InfestedAlexeiStukov_SC1_Art1.jpg

Thank you! I didn't realise that :)
THANK YOU! I was starting to think it was just me....
It's only a theory, but that Stukov is psychic is 100% true. A non psychic infested terran can't reach that power.
But the infestation of stukov was done by a more skilled being then abathur itself,so you can't say at 100% that Stukov has psyonic powers
Yeah you're right, but why Stukov and not another terran (the anwser could be: because Blizzard wanted Stukov again :) )?

No, he refear the skull civilian, skull marine and skull ghost

I think the cure is temporary, Stukov Said "and the cured slowly faild" this mean Narud is not involved in the reinfestation.
They experimented on the protoss cure and the infestation reborn because the experiments failed this is all.Sorry Gradius if we are alwais OT
