Barcraft is a multiplayer online card game mod for the video game Starcraft II: Wings of liberty and its expansion, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm. A bunch of Blizzard Heroes walk in to a bar...then they begin a bar brawl! Every player plays a unique hero to join the fight, stay with you own secret role, play card to protect yourself or beat your opponent up!

Ive been wondering why there has not been more card/board games made using the engine! Looks really nice, I hope it will be released on EU servers too ;)
Yes, being defeated too soon makes you have nothing to do, that is kind of boring, we are trying to make it better. And I think we should make the tutorial more conspicuous. Thanks for your posing! :)
Well after playing a bit more (mostly 3 player games) I got some idea how the game goes.
Russin roulette card should be changed or removed. Effect could be more like "discard 2 cards" or take 1 damage. Now its just ridiculous when its completely random and pretty much fucks over allies or enemies....most games even are decided by this random card. I wouldnt like discarding cards either thou, since you can run out of cards quite fast.
some heroes feel weaker than others (cant pinpoint all of them)
add rematch option
one heroes ability is to gain 2 life when other player dies. You can obviosly see how useless this is!!
3 health vs. 4 health is quite a disavatange. Russian roulette insta kills you, you can hold less cards, you die faster. In teamgames taking 3 damage might happen quite fast too.
Currently the gameflow is really random. Sometimes you get epic battles, sometimes it ends up in one round. I guess I would just try to balance things out to take out a little bit of that randomness.
I would also perhaps like to see something like "sacrifice health to get more cards". If you are stuck with 0 cards and get only 2 cards per turn....it can get a waiting fest of trying to get 1 card that would allow you to get more cards. Or perhaps something like "skip this turn to gain 3 extra cards".
I just wanted to tell that I'm really loving the art style and the grin on bartenders face when he wins! Actually, I'm loving every single outro screen, once again, awesome job!

About the Russian roulette, it's main strategy is whether to use it or not, if you and you allies are in disadvantaged(or you are the Bad Bartender - you don't have allies at all!), then Russian roulette benefits you (and you allies). May be we can change it into deal 2 damage or so, then the 3 health heroes won't be insta killed.
Yeah, some hero is more suitable for a larger game, and some hero is good at 1 on 1. Some hero can't fight alone, must play with the other heroes.

Because it's a defensive hero, he is more powerful when he can stay on the ground long enough :)
We tried to give 3 health heroes more powerful skills to keep balance with the 4 health ones. Different hero good at different roles.

Hah just played the tutorial and a game against AIs, aside from a few translation/spelling errors it is great stuff and very polished!
I hope some more people start playing it soon on the US server, must be quite fun with some real people.

guess cause u could do it in other place with flash or wtv. only advantage in sc2 is you can use blizzard stuff xp
This is such an awesome map, I feel like quitting mapping and playing it all day long instead.
One note, Tychuses "reckless" isn't limited to once per turn as toltip says. I hit a guy 3 times in 1 turn with it :D
Very beautifully made map, BUT it can get a bit slow, but overall was really fun :D
Extremely fun with group of friends.
On another note, I could not imagine this being fun with people who dont know how to play.
Its sorta like cool mafia.
I also experienced the horrifying death of dying before even getting chance to play any cards at all.
