I dont know the starcraft story, so I might be thinking... poorly.
IMO, no one is like "lets wage war on everyone at once" ...Except Hitler. We all see how that turned out. I think you could make a much more interesting story, and gameplay, if they were to start with a single race; which would be realistic. It could also allow for "pick your own story" tidbits, where you could get help from a race, killing another race, under the false pretext of help. Giving zerg the power of the purifiers, to help them whipe out the toss, ect.
Who knows, I am not a great story writer, nor do I want to be. I just read your first few lines and thought "not too realistic" and rambled aimlessly from there.

You will. Chapter 1 as purifiers, 2 as Taldarim, 3 as Raja's new Brood, 4 Moebius and on 5 :
Actually it is not the 1st time race of machine did that, and I assure you it won't be the last time.
Look at Necrons - War Hammer , Skynet - Terminator , The Borg - Star Trek , Reapers - Mass Effect.
Not the original dude, but the issues with those as examples (in regard to storytelling) is two things:
a) They outnumber all standing forces of the biological side.
b) in a 1 to 1 fight of similar types they would win (they're stronger, more advanced, tougher, etc).
LotV players might disagree with these sentiments, as of what we currently know of Purifier forces, they seem incredibly numbered, and about the same as biological forces. You may want to convince us of these two things in storytelling or in gameplay to satisfy that guy (it's ok to keep gameplay unchanged for balance reasons).

Out of pedantry (and as a Co-op Alarak main) I must insist that the "red armada" is called by its actual name, the "Death Fleet"

I'm quite interested how the Fenix or Talandar lost his voice over the Purifier collective. And as to what their motivations could be.
Very nice.
Whatever you do, wholeheartedly, moment by heartfelt moment, becomes a tool for the expression of your very soul.

That is way in the 1st chapter you get to play as the purifiers, you get to experience it for yourself just how menacing and frightening they can be.

Well, VastanX did send me a PM few months back about possible collaboration / crossover campaign.
If not I will probably continue with the 3rd part of the trilogy called Noir : Evolution.
Noir : Automata focus on the Purifiers and the Protoss which took place after Ending B : Beautiful Lie
Noir : Evolution focus on the Hybrid after the Purifiers war, which took place after Ending A : Among the Living.
