READ FOR THE BEST VIEWING EXPERIENCE:
Lets start this out by saying that watching this movie over Youtube is a perfectly fine way of watching this movie. The sound has been optimized to work within a stereo enviroment and while there is a noticable loss in the video quality, the quality loss is still within a very acceptable level. Keep in mind that the sound was optimized for headphones, so I suggest you use some high quality ones to watch this movie.
With said, the recommended way of watching this movie is by downloading the movie (once it is uploaded) and watching it on your PC with headphones. That way, you get 100% out of the video quality and the sound quality. The biggest difference is that the downloadable version has a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mixing, which greatly increases the quality of the audio. The gain in visual quality is also very noticable.
Also, there is the possibility of watching the downloaded movie on your television set. This is also a valid way of watching this movie, expecially seeing how the movie features Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. However, there are some shortcomings with this: Your television might screw around abit with the black/white contrast of the movie and on your 5.1 sound system, the music might not stand out as much as it would with headphones. However, while the movie was not primarily designed to be watched on a television, I tried my best to optimize the sound for it and the result is pretty good. I myself watched this movie several times already on my television set. While it has its shortcomings, watching a movie on a big screen on a couch always has another unique element to it.
Decide what option of viewing this movie suits you best.
With no further delay, heres the link! Enjoy!:
Im extremely excited to hear your thoughts on my movie! Feel free to state any sort of criticism!
Allright! I expect lots of cringeworthy lines, cheesy scenes and voice acting that isn't good at all. Let's see if this movie meets my expectations >:D
In all seriousness, I'm not someone who enjoys machinima, but if you kept on going for years to create this piece which last for whole 60 minutes, then I'm sure I can at least try to appreciate what you've done.
My prediction based on nothing: I'll have at least 20 facepalm moments. Brb in 2h.

Okay. I came to like it by the later part of the movie, I suppose there is just something charming about PvZ :D
And I only had 9 or so "uh-oh" moments, so my prediction was wrong too. Overall I feel that protoss voices lacked passion, as if their voice actors were afraid to sound silly. The ones I really liked were ghost, marauder and immortal, they had a vibe of coolness and conviction around them.
Now for the parts which made me feel silly:
Look, a message in binary, this fragment which for us would represent no more than a single number, for protoss somehow represents 2 whole sentences.. I suppose I'd prefer some matrix-like hieroglyphs instead.
at 4:45 I can't help to feel that marine is missing something, a shield perhaps?
I've never noticed before, but after this movie I'll never look at zealots the same again. Who would have thought that they don't have a neck and that their head actually floats on top of their body instead of being properly attached to it :D
SCV Scaling, every time I saw an SCV, all I could think of was "Midgets in robots!"
Absolutely stunning piece of work. Enjoyed it a lot more than expected, and I can't really think of any noticeable flaws, beside the ones Ducky mentioned. Just a plain damn good job.

a secret point that should be not be spoiled
P.S. We need more clever zergs >.<
I agree, the immortal, the marauder (both voiced by the same guy) and Shiloh really had outstanding voice actors, even though I really like all the others, too (or else I wouldnt have selected them, lol).
The things with the SCV´s has two reasons: When production first started, I didnt know what the scale of the SCV´s was in canon, so I just assumed they were as small as in the game. However, with that said, I like it better this way, seeing how it plays together better with the cinematography, huge SCV´s wouldnt really fit the mood of the scenes they are in.
Thanks alot. And also thanks ALOT for your .m3 plugin, while I used custom animations sparsely, when I used them, they added alot to the movie, so some of the coolest scenes of the movie would not be possible without you!
Really great entertainment! Nice to see a sc short movie/trailer that does not involve mega-heroes and cheesy romance - just pure war & battle drama :D
@TheSkunk2: Go
I agree with this, the voice acting seemed alright before the terran voices chimed in, they're pretty awful.

Damn good work. Voicing was not convincing on the Protoss units. It was bad. Apart from that, its very impressive work. Really well done.

I agree! :)
Im really glad how well people are liking this movie! I was expected more like mixed reviews, but most people seem to really love it :)
