I'm in love with that carrier it's pretty amazing.
I saw that Aldaris compromise in the video and it looks perfect. Not too much, not too little.
As far as the Citadel of Adun though, I have a major issue. It looks really good until I get to the wing thing on the left. I can't tell what it is and which way it's facing. The original sprite looked a little weird but I think I'd go with a more "mirrored" version of the other wings. Here are some reference pics. One of the Project Revolution model I converted over (poorly), and one of the Citadel of Adun button in the SC2 alpha.
Keep up the great work man this mod is going to be amazing.
Wow my kind is blown. I see it now, that is so weird. It wasn't aligned out straight at all. I guess they had trouble with it from the beginning considering the way it looked in the manual that came with the game.
Anyways yours is accurate to the way it was designed so scratch my post.
That image confirms my assimptions that the arms of the citadel, or at least that single one, moves around. Like it's some kind of observatory or something.
@Zarxiel93:
That's a cool model. But why is aldaris red?

I will always love the old Aldaris. His messy face just speaks of his age, and how grumpy he is. And he looks like some rich business man from wild west movies.
That image is from Artanis DURING the Episode 3, we NEVER see phisicaly Artanis in ep 3, so he could really look like in this way.
But in other pages (flashbacks of the Episode 4) we see him with the WoL's armor, so we decided to use the WoL portrait for him.
In BW Artanis was showed with cut cords and yellow eyes, but we know he have long cords and blue yes, so the comic appearence is more loyal to the canon appearence of the characters.

Yeah but even on the last page with the current armor he looks "off", almost like a different person. Combined with different lightning, Aldaris could have a completely different appearance.

The cut nerve cords is an error that Blizzard admitted to. Any other change is pretty much a retcon. Which, if "canon" is what you're going for, great. Otherwise, Blizzard is prone to changing pretty much everything to have little or no resemblance to SC1, in which case "canon" doesn't really matter and will probably be changed yet again if Blizzard ever decides to redraw Aldaris to look nothing like that comic.
Well, it looks like Aldaris in the comic least is understandable, and that's what (at least for now) seems that Blizzard consider canonical. But after 20 years I have NEVER understood his appearance in SC1.
The mouth thing is poor lighting. There are frames where he turns his face to the side and see that. I like that red aladaris a lot tbh, but i dont feel it looks like aldaris at all.
Overall the citadel of adun's arm looks weird, I would honestly ratehr aim for the spirit on how mst people remember the citadel rather than how weird the render actually is.

Well is identical to the Aldaris from the comic

Citadel of Adun sketch.
I don't know if this works, but I'm feeling bit meh about this one. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right.

Huh, what are you talking about? It looks AMAZING! :D
It's perfect!
Its in the actor, or just modify the in-editor "model" to use the death effect you made.
Or make a ragdoll death for it :)

I don't know, but here's an update.
@nolanstar:
When I learn how to do physics, it would be nice. Thank you. Without you mentioning it, I wouldn't have looked for how to remove them.

Hey Ghost, isn't the third arm kinda twisted 45 degrees?
Edit: You were right about Aldaris' head gear. It does follow with him all the way. I'll get to that soon.

Damn, the Citadel of Adun is really weird. Gna, if you are interested one year ago Blizzard confirmed the canon appearence of Aldaris
The official modeller of my remake Herdal already made a portrait of him
Here an image:
The model is private, but if you are interested to use it, you can after the release of our remake :)

The face you mean? Is the light and for make him more similar to the comic's image.
Nice.

That comic isn't exactly the gold standard. Look at Artanis in this picture: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/media/blizzard-comics/artanis-sacrifice/#/8
Looks nothing like him from the game.

His lower face looks like it had fangs or something. But I guess the way his face looks disfigured like that makes him quite unique.

Yhea, is really strange, seems he have a mouth (but we know Protoss don't have mouth), so the team decided to use the comic appearence for him :)
