- Players send computer-controlled units to the enemy base. While they are computer controlled, players do tell them where to attack.
- Once in the enemy’s base, the players can either:
Damage their economy; kill workers.
Damage defense; attack their defensive turrets which they initially ran past.
Capture one of the enemies Secondary Rifts.
Capture the enemy’s Primary Rift.
Attempt to kill a Psychic.
In order to capture a rift, players need to send ‘leechers’ with their armies. Leechers are very weak units that when near an enemy rift, begin draining it of energy. When the enemy rift runs out of energy, a leecher can sacrifice itself to allow the player to gain control of the rift.
Tower Defense:
Players can construct Phase Cannons, Spore Crawlers, Spine Crawlers and Missile Turrets through the use of workers. Each line will have the same tech tree: Ice, Poison, Fire, etc… however each type of Turret is stronger against a type of unit (armoured, etc… ) These can be built anywhere, including in your oppositions base. However, Turrets built in the opposition base will have a 50% stat reduction. Towers are vital to surviving, however are rather expensive.
Economy
Workers can be trained from rifts. They are expensive and training too many can completely undermine your team as you won’t have enough forces. They gather from mineral fields (which I haven’t yet added to the map). Minerals are returned to your rift. Minerals are used to upgrade your Secondary Rifts vitals: energy, energy regeneration.
Players must balance Economy and Defense. A strong economy is vital to success.
Players must construct turrets and defensive structures to help defend against the enemy swarm.
Goals
Primary Goal: Destroy all four of the enemy’s Psychics.
Secondary Goal: Capture the enemy’s Primary Rift (this is vital to achieving the Primary Goal).
Tertiary Goal: Capture enemy Secondary Rifts (this helps in capturing a Primary Rift).
Psychics
Each player owns a psychic. Psychics are incredible powerful ancient being that keep a players soul intact. When a player’s Psychic dies, the player is destroyed and the Psychic bay turns into a Secondary Rift which the losing team can get control of. They shouldn’t be treated lightly, though. They are impossible to take down early game, almost impossible mid-game and still need a massive force late game. They can be upgraded by players, but are ridiculously expensive. Each player has 1 Psychic.
Rifts
Rifts are what makes the game work. Players create units through their Rifts. There are two kinds of rifts: Primary Rifts and Secondary Rifts. Each team owns one Primary Rift, and each player owns one Secondary Rift. Secondary Rifts are also scattered throughout the battlefield for players to discover and capture. The way Rifts work is simple: when a player creates a unit, energy is taken from the rift depending on the power of the unit. Rifts initially start with almost no energy – however they can be upgraded for increased energy and energy regeneration. Rifts are invincible and so cannot be destroyed.
Primary Rifts
Each team owns one Primary Rifts. Primary Rifts have stats equal to the combined max energy and energy regeneration of all team-owned secondary rifts. Every 15 seconds, ownership of the Primary Rift is changed to another player in the team.
Secondary Rifts
Each player begins the game with one Secondary Rift. They have the same use as a Primary Rift, although are much, much weaker. Secondary Rifts are scattered throughout the battlefield. The player that captures them owns them until an enemy captures it.
I don't have an EU account, only NA/SEA. I'll be looking for someone to put it up when it is finished though. I estimate a few weeks until I'm ready to completely beta it. It's actually very simple to make, but it's the little things that screw it up.

Terrain
As you can tell Terrain isn't really my thing:
I will add much more information up later.
Initial thought please?
My thoughts are here.
As soon as you put it on EU, I'll test it ;)

I uploaded a Beta... of sorts... to NA. At the moment it features Protoss and Zerg units with upgrades. Rifts Beta.
Beta is going smoothly, estimate a few more weeks for release.
I'll just leave this here
...?
Coincidentally Primary Rifts use a purple Model too.
