This map implements the mechanics of the classical Vampirism Fire 4.02b of Warcraft 3. This map will not be a clone with the same icons and units that will be taken only mechanic of map, everything else, landscape, walls, towers, heroes will be in a new concept of StarCraft 2.
What is done at the moment?
At the moment, ready:
All Buildings, walls, towers, items for Human.
Slayer for Human with fully ready spells.
Vampires with completely ready abilities.
More than 35 items for vampire.
Terrain on 90%.
Triggers and GUI on 70%.
Can I join the development team?
Yes, you can, at the moment I do not have enough time to this project, so if you can make a landscape, a hero, artifacts, even let what some icons for the map. I will be glad of any help. Just pm if you want to join.
When release date of map?
Preliminary release date is August 2011.

So the landscape wont be elevated? Or will it? I wont be able to base without elevated landscape, and why is the vampire ranged? NEED MOAR INFO!!! Cause this game rocks XD i was going to remake Island defense, but then some idiot released the worst version of island defense ever and I didnt want to look like a copier
I'm glad to see that someone is actually trying to recreate the much-loved vampirism concept from WC3! Also, I'm a little skeptical as to the strength of that first wall...
Ohhh, what a fun coincidence. I'm actually in the process of creating a map based on "Vampirism Zero" which I thought was more fun than the Fire edition:) Good to see that I wasn't mistaken in thinking that this map already was in development! :P
It looks great, the terrain look awesome! But a little advice. I know this is still in development, but things like the slayer's name is Gabriel Tosh does not quite look good in my eyes.
It'd be cool if we exchanged info about our maps, I do not posses a mind full of fantasy, and I seem to be in a loss for names. I'd love to see how your's fare. I'm sorry that i won't be able to join your team as I'd like my own map done soon :P Feel free to ask me about my opinion towards some feature, I'll certainly respond! :)
EDIT: By the way, after looking at your videos it seems to me that your "base-areas" as I like to call them, doesn't have much meat on the bones. They seem a little to incomplex, there are too few places to really build a defense as "human".
Looks interesting. If you ever push this into NA I would highly recommend getting someone to help you sort out some of the grammar slips on the tooltips. Nothing against you, but players often react negatively to typos ;P
Looking forward to playing this, SC2 really really need more of the old WC3 etc custom maps. They were awesome, I still play WC3 now because SC2 lacks so many fun maps.

Working on a Vampire just begun, the work is still very much need to do about 50 items, for Human about 30 Buildings ... and about 10 units ...

Looks good, but you'll have a hard time competing against "Catch n run" :S. It's just like this, but replayable, with achievements and different maps.
