I don't think that's true. I've been using nova covert ops assets in my maps without problems even though I never purchased it. (I've been tight on money but really like the stealth gameplay for my new map.) Also, I have yet to receive complaints about not being able to play yet either. I'm pretty sure covert ops is the same as with lotv, you don't need to buy it to use assets, just to play the maps.

I've got a question. When you say "play as Abathur" do you mean playing as a custom unit or somehow playing as the Heroes of the Storm Abathur exported to SC2?
Hm m. You will play with his brood, evolve his brood , then play with abathur as hero (hots) model. Yea. But not same abilities. Want make as alway something new.
Since u used abathur toxic nest and some models from co-op will people be able to play who dont have abathur co-op purchased? These things are always confusing :D
It works like LotV. You can access all the assets and publish them but you can't play the Void missions or ranked/unranked
That's why you can use all those custom co-op units and abilities in maps because the data that contains them is required to be downloaded in game patches
You can take a look on small showcase of Mission 1 from my abathur campaign. There is no more testing. The mission 1 shows you what you can expect from the campaign. The campaign will be released this year as a whole campaign, not mission by mission. I think it will be after summer or this fall.
As for shadows no offense for asking but try pressing 's' it's the hotkey for toggling shadows in the editor and it's possible you accidently hit it without realising. Otherwise, no idea...
Will you be using nova corpse? If yes i can't test them.

That won't be needed. The assets are already downloaded, the purchase is just to unlock them in official Blizz co-op maps.

He will be outside of his room only if he's not working with essence. He's not with zagara. + He has a small zerg base under him :d
