What about to make a few missions (maybe 3-4) after lotv how he borrows leviathan to explore the sector for essence and new strains using co op stuff. His origin would be nice but you can know everything about him when you play hots or read informations on sc2 wiki.
If anyone have ideas for abathur's continue, you're welcome. (fight for special essence or evolving new strains, few cutscenes, voice acted, it can be nice!)
First off he's a primal zerg, a terrible concept that should never have existed. Hearing him drone on and on about essence was one of the most grating parts of HoTS. His dialog was insipid and boring. Kerrigan would explain to him that they need him to destroy the psi destroyer for his lack of psi connection, and he says "Yes. We do not have this psi connection. We do not need this." That's literally all his dialog, just stating the obvious and/or regurgitating his need to suck mystical blue energy out of other creatures (which wouldn't seem so stupid if they would just call it what it actually is, genetic material, instead of "essence" aka "magic").
If you removed him and all his dialog from the game, what would change? We'd have a lack of a cartoon-looking warcraft dinosaur that sounds like he has laryngitis? Not a huge loss.
There is an unused, partially complete unit in the editor called the SS_SwarmGuardian which ended appearing in The Lost Viking. I think that it is a good one to implement as an "ultimate unit" that morphs from the normal Guardian (you can see a bit of the Guardian model in the Swarm Guardian one). You could do the tech tree a little bit like Allied Commanders and expand with more customized things like this.

If nobody else does it then I might make something for Dehaka...
