I tryed all 5 missions on one night at brutal (i started saying, "OK, only one per day!"
Very funny missions, great custom models, very good terrain but there are problems... Some comes directly from brood wrath and are far worse now, plus evident imbalance and some bugs
The units showed on the briefing spins too fast, i liked Bey Blade but this units still spins too fast for me :D
Mission 1, wonderful terrain, the tileset usage is very good, also the doodading
Suggestion for mission 1: Put some more spine crawlers, i pratically trolled the entire map with my burrowed roaches, oneshot ambushed ultralisk were very silly.
Is Radgar using Niadra quotes?
Reclaimed units and structures show a protoss circle animation from lotv instead of the zerg orange circle from Hots
Love Abathur/Abarth man!
Mission 2 need three spire crawlers on each crawler, even here i trolled everything with burrowed roaches that bursted and tanked everything... Nice location of the Hydralisk dens, the first is right in front of your door and the last is well covered.
And now we come to the brood race... Oh god... Dude... The damn buildings are too damn big, i find every units that is not a zergling trapped into them... I don't know if you did that to increase the challenge, but i honestly hate this, on brood wrath the structures were smaller, here the Hatching Nest is so damn big that every now and then a unit is trapped by it... Not funny, only annoying, i suggest to scale his size down
Unit Balance: Buzzer flyer OP, everything else Garbage...
The brood walker is like a de-evolution of the roach, more range, less health, more mineral cost, less damage, less DPS and burst damage, in top of that is so big and slow that it stucks itself on my base everytime and you can't micro/kyte/focus fire with it... Suggestion is to increase his movement speed and reduce by at least 30% his size, fow how he is right now he is just a big step back if compared to the roach.
Broodlings are nice, 45 HP and 1 armor, not bad
Acid Fiend, i've alwais hated WC3 catapults for every race (Mortar Team excluded, so OP), i understand that you do them for the AoE burst against light frontliners, nothing else, not worth to have more of four of them, plus being stucked on your structures is a must for them, they are large like a truck! I don't like this units, but considered his long range (maybe range 13 instead of 10) siege role they are not that bad.
Mission 3 and 4 were done with only buzzers, i tryed a ground force to support them... Money wasted, they are not even a half as effective as the buzzers
Mission 4, put a non walkable section in front of the boss and increase the unflyable path on the final boss arena, nice boss, it's the same as hots, but with a different hero is a whole other story; Plus if you can remove the army selection during the fight.
Final cutscene of mission 4, Abarth says "we should move to THE Slayn", there is a "the" that is not needed.
Mission 5... Hated this mission, not because it was hard, but because i got my units stucked everytime and i had so few production buildings that my army growed so slow... The brood mother is just a queen, nothing different, no new spells or abilities... Still pretty usefull for the healing
Brood Tower is a good defensive structure considered his high range, the other turret's low cost and good health make it acceptable, even if it deals no damage, but hey, the role of every defence is to buy time/help your army defend, so it's ok
Thanks to the Hybrid AoE lifesteal, i was forced to s ground army... The pain! It was like a march of slugs, with the ever present acid fiends taht locked half of my army away (i did too much of them and forget to keep them back on the first part of the mission :P), as i said these brood walker are quite terrible and godawful on melee scenarios.
It was nice to see Cyclops Colossi on action, they Dankshotted my Radgar on the first minute of mission :D
Terrain on map 2, 3 ,4 and especially 5, was still pretty good, congrats
The custom models are too good imho, nerf plz! The harvester, a long drone without membranae looks sick, i like it; Brood walker is nice, and very different, walking overlord, super cute; Acid fiend is really well done, you even did a new portrait wow! The structures look like a whole new race, a hybrid between zerg and primal zerg, great job; I liked a lot that you used the models scrapped by blizzard for the primal ultralisk and ravasaur, you even took the badass sharktailed one for the ultralisk :D
Difficulty is fine, not the glorious madness of Brood Wrath map 5 1st version or that sadistic Vortex of the Void map 1 and 4 1st version (4 hours to defeat map 4 lel)... Maybe buff the later waves, cuz they are weak, especially with the Dank AoEs of mister Ragdar (very smart to make them dodge my corrosive bio shots on brutal, i still managed to exploit this, i anyway shot the bio so i force a mass split directly on my army)
Keep up the great campaign, is very good and funny, if you want just fix the fat ass bases and that useless brood fat walker
Mission 6 is beautiful, i like the Char Mud terrain and AlleyViper models are simply badass
The new unit is cool, 11 dmg per second is nice against armored, i suggest by the way to make a passive for it so it ignores armor, because with a damage so low and its role to hit armored targets, he will lose a lot of damage per second against heavy armored targets.
I see the production building is smaller... That's nice, a bit smaller would be even better imho.
New broodling upgrade, yeeeee
The difficulty is ok and i liked the wave and the pression to expand in order to don't run out of minerals
Well defended bases with Leviathan that took me a lot of supplies to take down, i liked this, the bases felt heavily defended that's good
Mission 7 is great, nice terrain and good difficulty (on brutal)...
The broodalisk is a good unit and the model is great
The key is to lure away leviathans and brutalisks from the main base with his defences and that antiair cannon that rapes my devastators or your army will lose 50 supply on few seconds
The name of the mission is not listed on the missions selection, i had to open it from the editor
Enjoyable boss fight, once you use a good timing on the laser and bio shots you can shot her spawn and heal a lot, plus dodge the two spells she pop out will prevent you a lot of damage, i defeated her without healing boxes but i had to try 3 or 4 time, nice fight and good fatass model

After a quick exp i cleared all the map from everyone until i had to rebuild my army into mass infestor/queen/devastator and finally destroy that damned zerg base with burrowed lurker and swarm hosts (that spawns gatling gun locusts? lol)... Then i camped every exp with dozens of t2 towers and t1 towers and won (it was disgusting to see zergling tear apart some of my towers even if had 30 or more of them, i only hope they were A LOT of zerglings)
Terrain is fine, the frozen statue are a good touch.

Checked mission 10, it's ok (even if it's a mini version of mission 8 and brood wrath final mission), flying beetles take care of the left side, you army of the right one, few brood guardians to soak damage and mass devastator (best unit on the campaign for now, even better with the upgrade).
The odin attack was a good idea, maybe also some battlecruiser after or on the last minute, it was not really hard on Brutal

Mission 8, difficulty is ok, the infestor/reaver is much better of that catapult garbage from brood wrath and i like it, is even more usefull of the acid fiend... After a quick exp i cleared all the map from everyone until i had to rebuild my army into mass infestor/queen/devastator and finally destroy that damned zerg base with burrowed lurker and swarm hosts (that spawns gatling gun locusts? lol)... Then i camped every exp with dozens of t2 towers and t1 towers and won (it was disgusting to see zergling tear apart some of my towers even if had 30 or more of them, i only hope they were A LOT of zerglings)
