Here is my submission. I don't have any means of recording so if someone could make a video out of it, that would be awesome and i would love you long time.
I beleive that will show a youtube video of my submission.
Basically its a avoid the hazard type. 4 banelings will spawn and a couple of seconds later the entire row/column the banelings are in will become the hazard
Updated for longer video - more gameplay and sound. :) If you can't read the intro/briefing text, try viewing in HD
WANTED:
Features/Objectives:
Follow the other miners up the road to punch in for work.
Avoid coming too close to Dominion Guards, lest you be recognized for the Rebel Provocateur that you are.
There are a few patrolling guards in Level 1. If you're finding it too tough to move around them, try Dashing!
If your Agitator is caught, you'll be disappeared and forced to start over.
Suspicion level lets you know if you're a little too close to Guards - but you can also just watch their movements! If Guards become suspicious they will face you and follow your movements until they're satisfied you're not a dissenter... (until you move out of range)
Level 1 shouldn't be too challenging, you've got 5 Agitators (lives) to try. These are displayed in the top right as seen in the video.
LOL...I already submitted something VERY VERY similar to that lol. It's ok though, I'll come up with something else to replace it. :D (To keep my submissions total at 2)

Yes I did see your entry, but with limited assets that produce the same effect, I thought my entry was quite different, in mine you are contiously on the move away from the raising supply depots and they don't just all raise at once. I used supply depots to get the effect I wanted because it was the easiest. If an admin think its copying of idea, then I will see if I have time to change the supply depot to another effect
lol That's a fair question. As the game evolved, I've added a few patrolling guards. Keep in mind this is level 1, and is the lowest on the difficulty curve. :) The (mini)game is more or less finished though, I've added victory conditions, lives and a few other interesting things. I'll add the map and an updated video shortly.

There are some nice ones :) I like mini games they are fun.
I am trying to create one for this but I don't know if i will finish it.
( what I want to do is make a Starcraft party game, and get a bunch of users together to add their own mini games )
I started some on something like this, but I don't know how anyone else would think of this.
If you are interested in anything like this let me know. I think it could be fun.
Dogs wander on their own, as critters do, but are confined to a "leash"... an area which they can't leave.
When you enter within range of a dog, it will stop and bark until its owner comes running. If you're still in the area, you'll be caught (and presumably killed.)
In the future, I may add a quantity of "distractions" as an ability to nullify the dog's unpredictability. (ie: 5 charges of "Throw a Steak" ability)
Principle : bouncing/throwing physics.
Movement : with WASD you can apply an force on your firebat to move.
Goal: bounce to the end of the hall. Dont hit any animals.
-the code is a bit messy, some unfinished/unimplemented stuff.
Sorry, i know its not very polished, I got the system working and that is important for me. I just wanted to be a part of this, and hopefully the community will take something from it :)
PS: how do I make the video appear instead of a link?
Well I was going to submit a dodge zombie (zombie survival) bounds map but ultimately through testing I've decided to make it a full map... so no entry for me. GL guys, and cool stuff progammer!
Ill give that a try. It sounds like a simple enough contest. Sounds like a good way to spend my saturday morning.

bump.
Updated the video... bit longer, with sounds, should give you a better idea of gameplay now. :)

QMJ3, I don't get it, if they just stand still and you can see the area they will notice you in, then how can you not win?

Submission #2: Wanted - Level 2 - Dogs
This part made me laugh... :)
I like your map/idea, by the way.
I tried to make something for the contest but it doesn't work as expected, even though I tried both Data editing and triggers. Oh well...
