Pretty fun game.
The targeting AI isn't the best thoough, and has some room for improvement. Forcing people out of corners (which only have a 25% chance of getting hit compared to the rest of the map) should be fairly easy to fix.
Having a relatively big circle around each player, in which the nukes will strike. The radius can of course be dynamically changed as the time goes down
Force the nukes to have a minimum distance from eachother, so they won't just overlap.
Check the corners for players, for which the nukefrequency is increased as long as the specific player is in the area
I also wouldn't mind seeing reduced life on the zergling but with a life system. Heck, giving it a crapton of HP and no regen works as well.
This is just so the game has a bigger competetive element than just "whoever survives wins", as the end could check for who has the most HP/lives and declare that person the winner.
An idea for multi would be to randomly have the nuke animation appear, but instead of a nuke dropping, a powerup is dropped. These powerups would do neat things like boost your speed, make you temporarily invulnerable, make your enemies more likely to have nukes target them, etc.
I originally made it purposely to be simple chaotic fun. I'm planning on adding a last man standing gametype for multiplayer and fixing the corners having a low nuke rate, but that's pretty much it.
It's not that I don't know how to do upgrades and powerups, I just feel that there's way too many maps coming out that are over-complicating what could be simple and fun ideas. I just don't personally think that it will enhance the fun by adding powerups and upgrades... although the map I consider it to be open source GPL, so you're more than welcome to make a new version of it if you feel strongly about this.
I saw the video, I like tihs map.
But I have two suggestions:
if you want to make it a little more difficult, forget the corners. Make it round.
At the beginning, I think the nuke frequency is too low. It would be more intense if the end was a little easier (but with a round map so not really easier) and the beginning harder. The progression would be less important but I think it could be a good idea.
I would also like a multiplayer version (for when blizzard will permit it ) with no win, juste who survives longer.
Maybe add one of those fancy voting modules at the beginning and you can choose to play the normal version (no spells/attacks) or a competitive one, with power-ups and such, but then it wouldn't be a simple map anymore :*(

Pretty self explanatory. Dodge some nukes and chew bubble gum. But you're all out of gum.
It's a very simple map, was not meant to be complicated. I might end up making the difficulty slightly higher if too many people find it easy.

I was thinking of randomly targeting players every so often.
Also I've posted me beating it with commentary here:

Pure and simple fun!

Updated the map, release v1.0. Changes:
Map is also currently on battle.net, you can find it under the name "dodge the nukes".
