A huge problem with the dialogs in the Starcraft 2 Editor is the preview : you must to launch the game to see if what you want will be the same in game.
This map have a simple aim : to help developpers to make dialogs in game. After that, a developper can go to the editor and reproduce the same dialog interface, but by having all offsets, width, height you will need, without to test your map every 3 seconds.
Gotta test this before i can give any feedback, but... Awesome.
Great work. This is something that's really needed, making dialogs is such a pain because of all that testing thats required for just some tiny changes. Great idea and great job, cant wait to test it out and finally get some dialogs into my own map!
Seriously...that is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. Actually, I've never been able to even make a dialog in the first place lol! :D This will definitely help A LOT of ppl. GOOD JOB!!! :D
Excellent, I thought about writing something that would do that (though it was going to be in C#) and would output the galaxy script which you could import into your map. Looks like it's already been done =], this looks extremely useful.
This will definitely help all of us out until Blizzard makes some improvements to their dialog system. I still find it stupid that they didn't design dialogs to be more like modern HTML/CSS, which is far easier to understand and edit. Maybe they'll do something like that some day. Thanks for the map though, I'll be using it a bunch for upcoming projects.
I wish I had a list how backrounds of those dialog things look...since thats my biggest problem...just finding the things and how they look (I know this could help finding them).
/edit why arent there any textures showing for me? when i try to change the texture there is nothing :(
That's what I was wondering too. I tried it out last night and ended up being a little disappointed to actually find BUGS AAAGH!!!! No seriously, once I have the ability to type numbers into the text boxes, then I will start using it like this computer. :D Also, I don't see any textures. Is that a bug? Or is it because I need to download textures?

When you download the map you have 2 SC2Bank files. Copy these files to your Documents\Starcraft II\Banks folder.
These files are : "TexturesPathUI.SC2Bank" et "TexturesPathOthers.SC2Bank".

I was thinking about something like this!
How do you plan on doing the Saving?
The save will be done on a SC2Bank file. One SC2Bank file by "project".

Excellent, mad props on this buddy.
Most useful map on the site tbh.
does it come in english or is that just your version of starcraft?
The uploaded version includes the enGB and enUS version. The SC2Bank files are the same in both languages.
Triggers editor supports only french, but the game supports english versions.
Gotta test this before i can give any feedback, but... Awesome.

In the good way
Dude I fucking love this, just tried it out and I can not WAIT for save to be implemented.
This is seriously my favorite creation ever.

Yes! Excellent idea, can't wait to give a go! I hate making dialogs usually, soooo fiddly.
Thanks :)
For all english users, did you find translation problems?
Save & Load Structure
The SC2Bank file will be structured as here (after saving) :
I will trying to do the Beta 2 for the end of the week-end. Give me feedback if you find some problems or if you want to give me some suggestions.

That sure looks cool! Good job.

Thx! I'll see if that does it when I have more time! :D
I think this deserves more attention that it gets.
