This original Wc2 map is all about naval combat as every player start on one of the eight islands. There is no other way to conquer your foes than sailing your almighty armada and hoping your transport ships land safely.
With the next map we will add bug fixes and improvements too.

Thank you very much. My first rts was also Warcraft 2 and its my personal favorite still. You can try modern gameplay mode wit him, its closer to the Sc2 style with unlimited selection, building queue, rally point, few autocastable abilities and increased supply/farm. He may find it easier to get into Wc2 with it. Host can select between them when he create a game.
Anyway today I added the Gryphon Rider and Dragon to the game so now you can enjoy the full tech-tree of Warcraft 2 :D

New Map: One Way In, One Way Out. 1v1 map with destructible rocks in the middle.

units with Invisibility won't attack automatically and can not be detected
Death Knights and Mages won't auto attack or flee while casting Death and Decay and Blizzard
Death Knights and Mages won't be damaged by Death and Decay and Blizzard if they cast it on themselves
Death and Decay and Blizzard deal more damage
Death and Decay can target air and structures now

summoned units won't instantly die when their timed life expired, instead they will take periodic damage

Minor summoning reworked in classic gameplay mode to cast between 1-4 units depends on caster's mana
We are working on a coop campaign mode for the mod similar to the Starcraft 2 commander coop. It means you will be able to collect in game credits by playing our maps and you will be able to unlock different heroes of Warcraft 2 with these credits. Each hero will have altered tech-tree with different play styles including new units, structures, abilities and upgrades. The more altered the tech-tree the more expensive the hero will be. You will be able to choose the default tech tree of both races as a start.
Currently I'm working on the tech-tree of these heroes:
Horde:
Teron Gorefiend: relying on hordes of undead, like skeletal grunts that have a chance to reanimate again, skeletal archers that infest enemies, death knights etc.
Gul'dan: Using warlocks, Daemons and other forbidden units. Using an Altered Warcraft 1 tech tree.
Zul'jin: Trolls. Instantly get Troll berserker upgrade, Dire Trolls, Bear Riders etc.
Cho'gall: Ogre Mage specialist. Instantly get Ogre-Mage upgrade and Bloodlust.
Alliance:
Turalyon: Paladin specialist. Instantly get Paladin and heal, have a greater healing upgrade.
Alleria: Elves. Instantly get Elven Ranger upgrade etc.
Lothar: Leading the remnants of the Stormwind armies. Altered Warcraft 1 tech tree with conjurers, clerics etc.
Kurdan: Dwarven race.
