As I navigate through learning the galaxy map editor I will focus my efforts on making a hockey map. I've been working on this project since the map editor came out and it has taken me this long to make working game mechanics. As I feel I have a solid handle on the basic mechanics I will begin to add the multiplayer aspect into the map. I can finetune the details of the map later while I continue to create the framework.
I meant to post some videos earlier to mark my progress, I've just been busy. You can see in that short video that there a few broken triggers however I'm not worried about that. Right now this map is about proving the concept and mechanisms work. I would like to tackle the bigger problems first and then focus on the details of the map later.
The next important step that I would like to tackle is the collision system. I want the puck to be able to bounce off walls. I've been looking at a couple other maps such as zerganoid to see how they tackle it.
