Like the use of DCD for sure. Not many people know about that... and it fits well with this kind of mood (reminds me of The Mist which is in part what I suspect you drew the inspiration from).
I like the use of lighting, but in the end the mood seems to kind of lose focus. The time restrictions don't really give you much room here. I'd much rather see a feature-length version of this.
Well, i dont plan making a full movie out of it by know, seeing how im already working on Rebirth of the Swarm and already planning another full lenght starcraft movie.
Really nice. I still wonder why all those particle still falling down in space :P
I tried so hard to fix that :((
While the effects of gravity in space are typically quite limited, this particular pocket of space is... oh sod it, it was magic. Yeah, magic. Happy now?
Really like your vid.
It reminds me of the ending of The Mist (....there is mist + the same music, guess that's why)
I like the running and fighting where you only see the shadows. That makes you feel like watching a great movie.
Great use of different camera-positions.
Nice work all round. Revenge of the Tal'darim and Eiviyn's space battle are my favorites so far. Out of curiosity, what do you guys use to record your vids?

Nearly exactly what I had in my mind when I heard of the contest, you have my vote
(Just saw that my favourite cut-scene-contest-entry was made by you as well)
Hi guys! Would it be possible for someone to record my map into a video and possibly give it some western or epic sounding music as well?
I can't really record it. But I did open the map. Heres a hint of advice so the judge does not waste his time.
Make a new trigger at the end of the rest of the triggers that ends cinematic mode and puts the game into a Tie. That way the game ends and the judge is not expecting something else to happen.

@Eiviyn Yay, thats epic. Nice work.
Well since no one would record my map, Here is the map. If you can film in ultra. It has a lot of depth of field.
Hmmmm, I guess nobody wants to record it, so I'll have to enter it just as a map file.

If I have some time tonight I will hopefully be able to record them. I'll have to see if my computer can handle it, but I think it can. =)
Okay, I got them. They are both in two 30 second videos however. :P I'll upload them as soon as someone tells me how to!
Trial Fraps I guess. Just upload it to youtube and embed it ?
