Light Time's Night has not been released yet, the video above is a teaser (done all in game) showing the kind of animations you can expect to see in the game. A full trailer, along with other details, will be shown at the time of the game's release.
What kind of game is Light Time's Night?
LTN is a highly cinematic single player experience featuring the heroine Light, an overwhelmingly powerful psionic who is part of a group known publically as "The Resistance". Set in a different universe than Starcraft altogether, LTN is an episodic series of single player games with each episode taking approximately 90 minutes to complete.
What kind of features make this game unique?
In addition to a slew of customized cinematics, art, UI, and voice acting, the way abilities are used will have a different feel compared to most custom games on Startcraft 2. As the story progresses, players gain powers like short duration stealth, speed, weapons, and eventually will have limited control over time itself, being able to slow down time for everything except the player, stop time, or even reverse it.

This is a piss poor approach to hyping a game. Just because the game is not released doesn't mean you can't show gameplay. Your teaser was uninteresting to say the least.
Since it is a teaser, and teasers usually do not show actual footage of the final product, but scenes made specifically for the teaser, nobody can get angry 'cause of that.
"Teaser trailers are often made while the film is still in production or being edited and as a result they may feature scenes or alternate versions of scenes that are not in the finished film."
Let's apply that here. I am not expecting to be shown detailed gameplay or anything about the story etc.. But, his teaser is almost devoid of any actual gameplay. Therefore, it is like a movie teaser with no scenes. How does one come to any idea of what the end product will entail?
I agree with you. I fefrained posting cause it seems rather pointless...I dont think that kind of "hostility" from karasawa is that bad, since the point he made was valid.
Even if its a teaser it shoul not be boring and I felt like it was boring.
Nonetheless Im still a bit interested and would rather comment after playing it.

Why are you being a bitch about the teaser? I mean its just a teaser and they are free to do that in any way they want to do it. If you want to bring something to the table do it in a polite manner. Its just rude to say that its bad, and its no argument that it is lacking gameplay (even though it have more gameplay than other teasers, like blizzard always showing their intro to their games way ahead of other things).

Though you die, la Resistance lives on!
Seriously though - your project looks fairly original and I like that. Will probably give this a whirl when it finally comes out. Any updates since two weeks ago?
No, It's like a movie teaser with a scene that is enterily removed of any context, no context is what 'teases' our imagination. This map is obv. centered around story as well as gameplay, and as this character evidentley is part of the story, this is an enterily valid teaser. And a good one, might I add

What are you getting off about? They can do it anyway they want to but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I pointed out what I would prefer to see and I'm sure that other people feel the same way. You're welcome to disagree but stop acting like you have the claim to absolute truth. Maybe you should stop bitching about my response.
Please read my post again. I am not talking about the context at all. This teaser is equivalent to having no scenes because we see almost no gameplay. Why would a bunch of body shots of a model pique the interest of the viewer? Citing the Blizzard trailer isn't accurate, see below.
Actually, it does. Blizzard's trailer is clearly not aimed at people who have never touched Diablo. That is why they focus so much on the storyline, to pique the interest of those who would understand it.
This project on the other hand is unknown, so the onus is on him to give us some clue as to what can be expected. When 75% of the teaser is body shots of a model, that results in failure.
I've read all of the comments here and I'm actually inclined to agree with Karawasa, to an extent at least. The point in creating the teaser was to create the teaser. There's only about 5 seconds of gameplay in the teaser and it doesn't really tell you much. But I'm ok with this. New movies, new IPs in the gaming industry and even Indy games or films often make their initial debuts rather mysterious and uninformative. You could say that my teaser had nothing in it, which is fairly accurate. But then again, that's the point of a teaser.
Karawasa, I think you're right, but I also think that you're wrong. I know what it is you're looking for and it's not in this teaser. Naturally you would ask "then why bother making the teaser?" The answer is simple really, because I can. Haven't you noticed that the format for releasing Starcraft 2 custom games has become rather stale over these last 18 months? the games released for Warcraft 3/Starcraft 2 over the last 10 years are... similar to say the least. LTN is not a game like other Starcraft 2 games, it's much more similar to a console game than a Starcraft 2 RTS. Does that mean the game is for you? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, I suspect you wont be satisfied until you see a full trailer when the game is released. If that's the case, then that means that teaser has done it's job well. A teaser intentionally doesn't give you enough information, hence it's name. I don't think this response carries with it all that you want, but I suspect that down the road you will be more pleased than not.

We could continue to go back and forth about how much information a teaser should have, but that horse is already dead in this thread. I think the more important point is that your statement is not true. While I wish you the best with your project, at this point in time I have no desire for the trailer. The teaser failed (for me) because it did not pique my interest at all.

Very well made trailer. How far did you get with the development?
It's getting pretty far, I'm hoping for a playable demo before the end of the month.
Where is it going to be published?
Please tell me it's available for SEA.

I think you may have confused a teaser with a trailer. They are two entirely different things.

I really don't want to come off as an ass or anything, but you are "showing the kind of animations" we can expect to see.
To be honest, a TPS/top down shooter-esque, and some different camera angles?? None of that is making me go "ooh" or "aah".
What I am interested in is "the way abilities are used will have a different feel compared to most custom games on Startcraft 2".
Any new style of gameplay/something unique is what catches my eye.
But I am looking forward to this "different feel" you claim to have, and I hope you do have it.

Also, if what you say is what you really mean, then you'd call this teaser invalid? Because there sure as hell ain't no gameplay here.
To be fair everyone already knows the game play to diablo -.-
