I love this idea! I think I'm going to recreate something from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I'm gonna start with Hyrule Castle. I really like what everyone else has done so far, the tron recreation was amazing! Helios One is pretty damn good too.

Anyways I was thinking of doing LoZ too but TP because that is more hollywood style with screenshots. I was looking for a picture of wolf link howling in the opening. Not sure but I think it had a view of Hyrule field and the castle.

Figured I'd make something for this, though I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I couldn't make something from my favorite game Persona 4, since Starcraft 2's assets aren't quite...suitable for that. So I whipped up something from Mass Effect, took about an hour or so:

Can people please submit the map used to take screenshot ? It said right there in the rule (not my rule :D). It would be more fun seeing how a map turns out to be that screenshot

I edited my last post to include the map. It's a lot less awesome when you know how I did it, though. XD

Sorry, not sure if I want to devote myself to any large-scale projects at the moment. I'd need to be convinced that you're serious about it and that you have a concept that is worth creating.

Anyway, since people seemed to like my quick work, I edited it a little to try to make it more true to the reference. Here it is:

if i would know how to rotate stuff vertically, attach things or tint only parts i could have done this way better.. but here it is now.
