I made a survival type minigame which I'm calling "Heroic Defender vs. The Evil Swarm" because I'm retarded :D. Localized using Xhatix's tool. Difficulty increases every 60 seconds up to 300 seconds, you're scored based upon kills and time alive.
New version: fixed difficulty ramp up (spawns weren't coming faster over time). Apparently you can't modify a variable in a periodic trigger event (you can modify the variable but it doesn't change the event).
Future plans for it may include weapon/health power-ups, multiplayer support (currently solo only) and more. If you have any ideas for it, feel free to let me know.
Oh no! Ugly hordes of Aliens have suddenly come out of nowhere ready to trudge across your turf and reduce your Home Base to smithereens. Collect Solar Energy to power up an army of friendly Guys and keep those pesky aliens off your turf.
Unfortunately, this was the time I had for this submission. There are a few bugs that will occasionally occur but it should be playable. I'd like to emphasize that I tried straying away from using the Trigger Editor as much as possible: In fact, it is only used for the UI, initialization, spawning units and Victory/Defeat. The rest, such as the sounds and unit behaviours have been done using the Data Editor.

Video coming up in a few minutes.

Love it..
A bit too hard in the beginning and a bit to easy towards the end.
I guess you have to tweak the economics.
Really hilarious. You can expand it to a rpg project then. Just made it with a few pokemon (the 500 right now are mostly repetitive ones for franchise milking ..)
Neat map, you should extend it to a complete plants vs zombies clone. Anyway I have a request, would you mind making a tutorial on how you made your ball launcher attack? I am sure many people would find that useful, at least I would.
The problem is that in my case, I always needed the projectiles to go right so that I make a Launch Missile effect with a (500, 0) offset off the Source unit. I have no idea how I would make the projectile go indefinitely in the direction the Source unit is facing.
My 3rd Submission (still keeping up with 1 each day XD).
Dodge The Archon
Basicly you control a zergling, and you need to avoid the archons that are running across the map. if you collide with them you're dead.
Blue Archons: they spawn at an edge and move to a random edge.
Red Archons: they spawn at an edge, move towards the zerglings current position, and then continue to move to the edge of the map in a random direction.
Green Archons: they spawn at an edge, move towards a random point on the map, move to another random point on the map, then move to an edge.
I liked this one, feels like an old arcade game with good colors for a change, If I could change 1 thing, it would be making the zergling a little bigger, white and glowy, to be more noticeable.

Nice. Seems a lot like my baneling one i made though :/
Curse Premium is mostly WoW stuff for now. However in the future there is going to be Starcraft 2 related stuff with it.
About icons, do you mean custom avatar? People can already customize their avatar. I'm really open to any suggestion for the rewards as I know the Curse Premium is really useless for you guys.
Anyway, if you make it to the first 3 you get a front-page news with your name on it :) That's also another "bonus".
No like a little icon below people's Avatar that signifies that they won said contest. Like a medal.
On second thought though, perhaps it's best without.
As few may know, I made 4 successful, yet not very exciting, minigames, which would be best as multiplayer levels, and have stopped making a cool level called space invaders (sc2 version). However, I have worked tirelessly on it and finally got a working spawner (Which took a lot of triggers to look like the original waves of enemies) and finally finished it. I will post it once I finish inputting all the waves. Oh, and I still need videos 4 all my other levels, cuz i can't and dont know how, lol. So I'll post my new minigame very soon.

This is my entry, Whack-a-Ling, spent the entire day yesterday on-again/off-again making it :3 Enjoy. (It does not support multiplayer)
You have 4:30 minutes on you to whack 10 Nydus Worms, a Nydus Worm appears every time you have whack'd about 10 Lings. (You jump/whack with SPACE)
