I would love to see some bound maps going into creation! I used to be an experienced map editor with SCM Draft and make bounds all the time! But this new editor is so complex I don't even know where to begin! I would love to see someone create a bound and then upload it here so I could see how its done! Thanks! (plus it would be fun to play :D)
I was never a bound fanatic in Starcraft 1, or a maze fan in Warcraft 3. However, due to better triggers, we could have more gameplay. Arrow key control and such. You know?
That said, if someone made one, I would definitely play a SC2 bound. But we're talking an engine that can create FPSs and Space Side scrollers here, I think we can be even more creative. It's like a guy who finds a genie and his first wish was for a sandwich.
Yeah loved bounds in Sc1, tried making a really basic on in the editor, but i havent used once since sc1 (even then, I never got to much into it), so I pretty much failed. Its much more complex than in sc1 (which was obviously to be expected), but I thought I would be able to figure it out, but I guess not.
Anyways is there anywhere we would be able to dl your bound Sixen, whenever you get around to making it?
I'm working on a bound atm, it will be a 4 parter with the story tied together, if you want a sneak peak, I attached it to this post (if the attachment thingy works, otherwise it'll be in my post as soon as I upload it somewhere else):3

Edit: just wanted to let you know that the revive function doesnt fully work, in the way that the respawned zergling cannot die from units, I'll try to fix that later. (just restart)
Edit 2: I also wanted to let you know that I chose to base the map around you being a zergling in honor of SC1 bounds, since in them you mostly were a zergling because they were the fastest units ingame (I used to make SC1 bounds with the x-tra editor, but since I can't get the fully square tiles with this editor, it gets a more escapey approach)

Excellent work so far. I actually downloaded it because I couldn't remember what a bound was, then as soon as the map loaded I was hit with a wave of nostalgia. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this one.

You have 3 reapers 1 symbolizes a life. So use only 1 at a time. I also need help figuring out why the levels spawn multiple times when more people move over the regions any help would be appreciated thxs in advanced. Drop me a pm if u have any ideas or tips for me thxs.

I loved bounds, it'll be my first map on SC2.
I don't think this'll work out as well as it did in SC1.
In fact many games that relied on hacked tile sets will probably be near unplayable now.

Edit: I should add that I have fixed a revive function until a better one is found.
I don't think hacked tilesets will be an issue. Can't you just turn the camera angle and bam, you don't have to work in an isometric environment.
I've already started making "hacked" tile sets. It actually has amazing potential. The data editor is AMAZING for this.
