Naw, during development I tinkered with various values to get the right spawning quality with No Gaps, but it may have made the shorter gaps even more difficult to navigate.
I have a comical approach to dealing with No Gaps; people who vote for it in a game I'm in get turned unto silly things like lemons or sheep. I've seen a dramatic reduction in the number of No Gaps matches because of this, haha.
Levi, yeah, I change people's vehicles manually in the game.
basker, I often don't respond to your posts directly only because I have trouble understanding you, not out of any deliberate attempt at ignoring you.
The game offers 15 color options by default, of which I disable dark grey for being kinda overpowered against the dark floor tiles; the map should still support 12 players.
I've been tinkering with speeds and spawn rates recently in private single-player tests. If I come up with a satisfying change, I'll then conduct some private multiplayer tests and get some feedback. Whatever I do with the gaps, it's important to me that they are both aesthetically pleasing in their consistency and maintain a high enough skill floor that navigating them isn't trivial.
I've never seen such a thing, nor has such a thing ever happened to me; I perform 90 degree turns regularly, but I don't do the wiggle maneuver. Attach a replay and I'll take a look.
@ 5 mins, notice the chopping when moving. Every time the block drops, the vehicle chops. This is restricting free movement... Can't be 100% accurate. I never used to have the chops pre-patch.
It seems like the vehicle hitbox size got larger, and this might be causing the problems.
edit1: was just in game where others exploded a few times too
edit2: feels like i have to move my mouse in slowmotion to prevent explosion bug, and the choppiness really makes moving around feel uncomfortable.
edit3: ITS LIKE IM TRAPPED IN A GLASS CAGE OF EMOTION AND I CAN'T BREAK OUT
I noticed that I accidentally had left the barrier radius higher than intended and have updated the map to correct this.
I presume that's related to the mentioned shorter gaps?

The Yogscast played your map
@Exaken: Go
Those guys are funny. What a buncha clowns.
It would make my day if they ever reviewed my work.
Cool. I doubt anyone would pay 1 pound for the map in its current state, but I am flattered they'd suggest it.
we need to get Yogscast to cast more sc2 map.
I expect, based on what they said in the cast, they might do a cast for Mafia sometime.
I just tried the game again, and it still has one glaring bug.
People randomly explode if they 'twitch' even 90 degrees to one side & even if you weave quickly you explode.
I believe this has to do with the size of the vehicles (size is too big)
