Could maybe delay the spawning of the troops by another half second or so, so that their creation is closer to the end of the drop-pod animation. But it doesn't really matter that much - This way the player gets to use them faster.
As for the orbital strike, the shots seem a bit too random and only hit the edges of the target, you could add more periodic offsets pointing at the center to increase the likeliness of the center being hit while still keep it fairly random.
But still, nice work :)
Also, embedded the YT vids for you, click edit on your post to see how (the "random" letters/numbers are the ID of your youtube vids, the last part of their URL). If you are more comfortable with BBCode, you can use the dropdown at the bottom to change your posts to BBCode - WikiCreole markup isn't broken for some reason when using BBCode, so you can still use all the wikicreole stuff in addition to BBCode (Which also has its bade sides, for example you can't just put a * at the beginning of a line). This also means that line breaks will work properly in BBCode (Pressing enter only once)
Pretty good. but i am guessing that you have the orbital strike run on triggers to give you 'random' locations for impact. you might be better off setting up a periodic offset so its more consistent. :D

Or could make the blasts wider and use the SOp (Random in Circle) SOp to add extra randomness to visuals.
Also I would say more blasts but less duration.
