Okay so for the description. Step by Step on how its going to work . Hero model Hybrid.Maar
Ability Effect Target Type.
-First the hero chooses a target and then charges up himself by slowly flying up into the air ( not to high) while being invunerable , after approximately 1 second of charging .... The hero then flys extremely fast downwards and towards the target.. When hes low to the ground he starts pushing units out of the way. Note he can Home in (guidance) towards the target. ( i tried making this ability but i could not figure out how to stop a bug from happening, cause i was using a lauch missile effect for it, Basically if an enemy target teleports away while this is in mid progress i ran into bugs cause i have no impact effect)
-Upon impact of the target an AOE is dealt which applys a burning effect to all units(some small blue flames would do on each unit for the actor)., The actual target himself is then lauched upwards/backwards (huge punch) about 1.5 distance away from impact . When this target that got punched lands on the ground a secondary AOE slow /damage is applied again to all nearby enemy units.
so to sum up.
1st DMG/ 2nd DMG Burn DMG Range 1st Area/2nd Area
135 dmg / 25 dmg 10 burn dmg 8 2 AoE / 1 AoE
Minium Range of 1 ( if the target is within minimum range , it wont work)
I am looking for an ability for my heroes. To be honest, this one would be a template for others as well. I would like the ability to be a levelable passive aura, a base ability and then 3 "upgrades", and would like it to work with the Learn ability. This one could be an "Stamina" aura, giving a slight boost to life regen and shield regen, perhaps 0.5 for each? Then each next one an additional 0.5? So the top level would be +2. I am open to suggestions on the amount, it will get playtested anyhow :)
Animations - something to indicate that they are under the aura, but nothing too too loud. Something glowy, or an icon under their feet. You can pick, be creative :)
With this not only would one hero's aura be done, I could copy it and make the ones for the other heroes (going with themed auras based around which attribute is the hero's main - Strength (melee/ranged damage), Stamina (life/shield regen), Agility (movement speed and armor simulation), and Intellect (spell damage and energy regen).
Please, post the vid as well as the map so others can use it as an asset or tutorial as well. *nodnod*
i will get to them jinx very creative couldnt think of how i would it but you cant make a spell in 5 seconds... sadistic it sounds doable do you want me to put it on a lvling hero?
also would you like it add a attribute or increase the life and shield regen
Could it be on a unit? I could then just move the ability from the command card on the unit onto the hero. A Zealot works :)
I would rather it not use an attribute since only my heroes use them, rather I would prefer to have it be just the actual mods, such as the regen for shield and life. How about a range of 4?

Yes, it is gonna be on a hero. I just suggested a normal unit since it was easy to find, but any unit you want works. Levelable kinda like some of the Warcraft II heroes abilities. As they go up in level (10 levels in my mod) they get a point, spend it on a ability, or upgrading that ability. So perhaps it is 0.5, then if I choose it again it will go up to 1.0, then on a 3rd upgrade 1.5, and on a 4th 2.0. They would have to select it over and over for it to upgrade.
then u wont be able to make falcon punch, its an advanced ability. i know how to make it myself, but i was wondering if somebody was able to do it with triggers, cause the data editor method is bugged (against teleports and stuff)
no jinx lol i got the button to show up again but when ever i click it again it removes the behavior. im sure i can create the falcon punch just will have to look into it im not good with leveling stuff because i really never looked into it but once i can the behavior levelable i can finish sadistic if i had ideas i would spend like 7 hours a day on the editor but thats why i opened this fourm so yeah

Ulcerous Papillae (Upon research)
-Through extensive genetic research, the Swarm has discovered that the Desalisk holds an extraordinary regenerative ability within it's tongue. This ability will also appear, for the Zerg player, on any unit infested with a Cruentus parasites. When this ability is used, the parasite will burst from the unit causing X damage and then proceed to attack. Again, when released in this manner, the parasite will NOT seek another host and is deemed an adult Cruentus parasite."

Sure Chicago I'm just about done with sadistic I saw this on Starcraft2.com do you have the art ready or do you only have those awesome sketches if not ill use a spire for the building a hydralisk for the desallisk and roach for parasite I'm on my phone so ill re read your post when I get home
