when you say dark zealot do you mean a zealot that has the dark ability (its in triggers and makes the zealot dark as in tyhre campaign or the zealot prisinor?
if you want a regular zealot model use
triggers >apply ability to player 1> dark protoss or simmilar the actual stuff is somewhere here in the triggers

In the model files, there are 3 "types" of zealot:
-Normal one, which you have when playing RTS
-Zealot prisoner
-Dark zealot (black/greenish version of the normal one)
You can remove the pony tail using the data editor with a behavior, effect, and editing the zealot actor. Attached is an example using the regular zealot model.
1. Make a dummy damage effect (I named mine RibbonDestroy), dealing 0 damage, search filter: self
2. Make a dummy behavior (NoRibbon) that applies the effect every 0.0124 seconds
3. Add the dummy behavior to the zealot
4. Open up the zealot's actor
5. Open up events
6. Add Event > Effect > RibbonDestroy > Start
7. Add Message > DestroyRibbons
8. Enjoy!
When people put those download links, how do I open them...
I click on it, (In this case, Zealot_NoDreads2.SC2Map)
Then it opens a screen full of letters,numerals, symbols... Etc...
I had no idea what this is, happens every time... (Unless its the download button for a map/asset)
What do I do about this?

right click -> save as. after that just open in editor
Could someone possibly remove the ponytail thing on the dark zealot for me?
@Nebuli2: Go
You are going to have to get a 3ds max person to help you. Too bad I can't afford it.
I would totally help you out with such a simple task, but the damn M3 importer won't work for me :/
@Censible: Go
Oh well. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to find someone to do this for me.

Theres no need for a buff and a damage effect, it can all be done in Actor Events too.
I modified your map and just added a timer to the Zealot's Actor, to get the same effect.
@Lilianna: Go
yeah but I hate actor event timers :P so laborious

Laborious? It took only a few minutes.
