Over here i will store most of the work i'm doing for the swarm.
There will be complete spells (data abilities effects behaviours + icons), bar icons, concepts, work in progress and maybe also some models sometimes in the future. (Blender importer and exporter has to be finished first...)
You can post request over here as well, but note that they maybe won't be noticed or just be ignored if i doesn't like the idea or see any sense in it...(also lifetime is limited.)

Work for myself:
Cerebratal Armor (lvl 0 - done, lvl 1 - done, lvl 2 - done. lvl 3 - finally let as it was)
Zerg: Mind Link passiv ability (icon - done, ability - planed)
This acutally is lots of lots of work. You will find there 4 armor icons cause i want cerebrates to be something between unit and building. They would act a little like the crawlers and be able to root and uproot. I also dislike that not all zerg building profit from the armor upgrades... but well thats an other point.
First here is some concept are i done for the development of the Cerebratal Armor. As nearly always i started with drawing them on paper =P
Then i started my first tries on making those icons with GIMP. Normaly i use 760*760 pixel images for those propose. Background is usally black. And here are the first 4 concepts of the work.
I really disliked the look of the cerebrat itself. They gray looked very ugly and there wasn't and detail. As well the whole color blend from step to step was missing at this stage. So i graped a slimy texture from Bildburg and blended it onto my gray cerebrate mass. Wow - there we go.
After some work on the green glow this was the birth of the first two icon in the line.
Updates will follow - NOPE.
Consume is a legacy ability of the missing defiler from SC1. But i really miss that unit in SC2 and as i made the dark swarm ability icon here comes the devour icon was well.
I used a very dark color sheme cause the portrait of the defiler in Sc1 was solid black what give me the impression of a very dark wretched weird creature lurking in the shadow....

Kheldruns Weapon Icons:
I'm very said cause i wanted some other colors =P but all in all it counts that Kheldrun is happy with his spiny sparkling psi needles.
I really like this icon and i stuned how fast i finished it, after spending lots of time in the sporecloud icon from blizzard i decided to remake this icons completly from scratch. It's not very high detailed but i transverse the right feeling.
first i think i will upload the dds ob finished icon rows. So all the cerebrate armor dds-files will come as soon as i'm statisfied with them and is a good some feedback that the colorblending isn't as smooth as it is on the level 0 to 1 icons i think i will rework step 2 and 3.
And a fact is that step 3 looks like the sun... and this feels really wrong =P
As well as i'm not very statisfied with my concepts so far.
There is something wrong with the "Devour" icon and as well "Parasit Injection" icons looks to constructed and foced to be understandable.
Maybe i can get a got shot fo that one before the real injection act. So more like seeing the injection needle darting through the air while dropping some thick stuff out of its top.
As a bonus for still looking over here takes does dds of plague and dark swarm for the first. I will also add the mind link ability icon today.
i will look if i can do somethink like this. Can you maybe specify what the upgrade should do?
For example: Faster energy generation. Energy max total increased. Does it work the whole time? Some things like daytime involved and similar...
It's just the typical energy + 50 upgrade, like Peristalsis Glands I believe. The poor Overseer is one of the only "specialists" without one. Although in my mod, I give him abilities that are actually useful, so as such, he needed an energy upgrade to be fair. Currently I just use the icon for the Infestor energy upgrade and call it "Evolve Spawning Sacs."
