I'm attempting to mod a starcraft 2 map with a group of people, and I want to add in custom models into this map. One of the people I'm working with uses AutoDesk Inventor professional to create 3d models, and I'm wondering if it is possible to use this program to create models and import them into the starcraft 2 map editor.
im a noob to all this, but i think you need a plugin kit, if you wait of course i have no clue how long could be anywhere 1-6 months, Starcraft will have a modeling kit coming out, I think. not sure though.
It's 2010 (at least NiN's is and mine is developed around that). It might work on 2011, but I don't know what changes (if any) were made to the scripting language.
It's 2009 actually. NiN developed them for 2009. I've had more issues with them on 2010 than on 2011 which is what I'm using currently. 32-bit max, though.

If I'm not mistaken, the only current plugins (Which aren't official ones) are only compatible with 3DS Max. (Most likely either 2010 or 2011)
