I'm learning to use blender with println tutorial.

I've just changed the texture. I have to learn how to make a beard :P.

I don't believe I'm capable of finishing this. I'll try my best, but the goggles and the beard are really hard for a beginner.

I've tried making a new particle, but I don't know how to make it fit in the animations. I'll just have to keep reading...

EDIT About the color of the skin: It depends mainly of finding the best lighting. Here's how it looks with the mercenary goliath's one in game:

Should I change the color? Should I take out the earmuff or the hood? Or is OK the way it is?

Well he don't have the beard, but the portrait is very fantastic :D do you think to do other models for the remake?

I can't make the animations look good and I'm putting much effort to do it. I believe that this will just stay bald and without goggles.

I've finished it.

I'm not very happy with the result. I'm attaching two textures. One has beard and the other doesn't. The model uses Assets/Textures/SC1SCVportrait_diff.dds and the WOL campaign dependency.

I'm attaching the blender files if somebody wants to change them.

Well, is very more similar to the SC2 portrait, and I think he was very good :D

I've made the Du'Galle portrait by myself, just in case someone else is still interested in it.

It uses Narud's fxa for lipsync.
