Why not take a similar picture of the model itself and turn it into an icon? Since you're asking for a "coloring" of the black and white icon to make it look like the actual model.
Making the original model look toonish like SC2 icons, is probably a lot faster than coloring it by hand. xD
I'll look into it, but it'll have to wait till after Christmas weekend.
@onisagi & jaxter184: I thought of it, but I prefer the angle of the original icon. I'm trying to figure out how to change the camera angle in the Previewer currently, which will save the trouble of coloring the icon.
EDIT: Alright, found out how to change the camera angle.
@onisagi: I used 'Ctrl + Rightclick + Drag' to change the camera angle, and simply 'Rightclick + Drag' to move it around. I kept moving it around then changing the angle to get the result.
For the background, I didn't realize I could change the previewer background through that way, so I imported a full-black terrain texture and used 'Render > Show Ground' and chose the black terrain texture.
EDIT: Oh, and here's the .dds file of it, if anyone needs it.

I still prefer Camera editor xD, the movements are more exact, especially when you only wanna pivot on a single axis.
If anyone wondered, in order to use Editor control functionality like ctrl+rightclick drag, you must first change the camera control type inside Previewer if it isn't set already.
View -> Camera Controls -> Editor
I was wondering what the full name of that demolition charge is inside the Assets/Texture/ folder? I can't seem to locate it. I thought i extracted all the textures, but i guess not.
@onisagi: If you're referring to the icon, it's known as btn-ability-terran-d8charge or btn-techupgrade-terran-d-8charges. As for the unit's model, it's known as Magnetic Mine.

i got it, but i's not that great, i couldn't do alpha to selection b/c it changed the color to a beigeish color...

Did you discover the Camera Editor? That's how i navigate the previewer; by editing values in the camera editor and watching it update.
You can also change the previewer background color in case it helps. File -> Preferences... -> Colors -> Preview - Background
