For all those people who want to use in their maps so called WoW models, I enjoin you to use D3 models instead, beacuase they look much better than the WoW ones.
D3 models have a perfect poly count - about 2k, which makes them look great, and still not overheat gpu. Their animations look very convincing. Their textures are not too large, and still pretty detailed, so your mod won't height many megabytes.
Though, they require Art-Tools editing and creating a normal map. But WoW models require the same.
I used literally hundreds of WoW models in my maps, and I learned making them look realy nice, but since I used a couple of D3 models, I know that I will not use any WoW ones anymore. There's TaylorMouse's D3 exporter in his assets, and it doesn't ruin som models' aspects as the old WMV used to do.
Again: D3 models look perfect in sc2, like they suppoed to be there, and you have to try them. Then you'll forget about WoW, as I did.
Actually sounds like a good idea, since the WC3 assets mods were just released. One "bridge" is complete, so maybe we should move on to importing the D3 stuff.
P.S. I would do it my self for the buildings but I keep getting bloody eror after error just when clicking on my 3dsmax 2015 so If anyone can help me that would be great as I am so fustrated right now I am ready to SMASH MY PC!
