At the moment, I am working on a custom game inspired by the map "Vampirism Zero" in Warcraft 3. The game will be very much alike, but with a few twists of my own, which will, in my opinion, make it much more of a fun map.
This game is in an early alpha, therefore the whole game is open to requests.
This brings me to the reason of posting this, others than announcing the game. I'm here to get some suggestion from you folks and discuss some of the features in the game as I make them up. I'm pretty sure that those of you guys who might know the old "Vampirism Zero" would have something to suggest!
In a nutshell, the goal of this game is as following:
For the "humans" the goal is to basically survive by building defenses against the "Vampires" and getting income from various buildings. The "humans" will be able to recruit Slayers from the [Slayer's tavern], these will be able to level up just like the "Vampires". These Slayers will level up in the [level-up-place] where they will get continuous experience. They will only be able to stay there for half a day per day.
For the "Vampires" (I have not found a name yet), the goal is to destroy the "Humans" by getting through their defenses. The "Vampires" will be a hero-type of unit, they will be able to level up and get new abilities.
Here's a list of things I'd like to have suggested from you guys:
A name for the game. As written in the title, I don't really have an innovative name. I'd very much like the "Zero" in the name somewhere, but as for anything else, feel free to free you minds! The name should be stringed together with the name of the bad guys, the "Vampires".
Ideas for the bad guys. A name, which unittype I should use, which attributes they should have, etc.
Ideas for the good guys. A name, which unittype I should use, which abillities they should have, etc.
Ideas for buildings. Buildingtypes for the various buildings. Most of the towers from Vampirism Zero will be included. Those who have played Vampirism Zero should have some ideas about what should be included. Ideas to buildings that are not included in the original game is very much appreciated.
Human Slayer-types. Names, unittypes, abillities, etc...
A name for the "level-up-place."
A name for the "Slayer's Tavern."
Ideas for extra features.
