I highly suggest someone remake this classic UMS from SCBW! I'm not much of a map dev, or I'd try myself. =\
For those of you not familiar with it - the game starts with 8 players. The game consists of rounds wherein each player is given a predetermined set of units to micro. i.e. player 1 gets 6 lings, player 2 gets 5 marines. Each round spawns diff combinations of units for each player (can be a mix of races). The winners of the round move ahead to play the other winners in their bracket, until a final 1v1 match is reached, and then it starts over back to quarterfinal matches. For winning a round you're rewarded with 10 pts; 150 pts wins (or more/less, depending on preference).
The map consists of 4 *relatively* small areas on the bottom for each quarterfinal 1v1 fight, then 2 bigger areas above those for each semi-final fight, and then one large area at the top for the final fight. Also an area at the top left to choose at the beginning what kind of units to spawn - "mirror matches", "insane" (lots of units), "normal" (smaller unit sets), etc... also for fun, there could be an area for nukes, or other special abilities for use in certain rounds.
If anyone is up to the task of making this map, I'd be happy to help with the logistics, match-ups, etc!!
