will the models of other games follow?
will we be able to use depencies of expansion we didnt buy yet? (makes no sense to have a free arcade with all expansions but as mapmaker not)
Old thrall vs heroes thrall => Thrall HotS wins! Is perfect Also for a RTS game, the old one has Only worse textures and lower poly count, how the left Sylvanas can be better of the new Banshee Queen one ??
did i say it worse? it's just my humble opinion that old models fit better in low poly starcraft environments (doodads, structures, critters, etc). ofcourse it's good to have those from Heroes but it is under question actualy because of purchasable skins system. And old ones on the other hand could be released without any concerns IMO... and i like the stance of the old sylvanas more ;))

On the screenshot, it does not appear to have any HQ models like SC2, nor the previous alpha Heroes models, so I think that most of them will just be ported from WC3 with, as stated before, with a higher texture.
Know that, as stated before aswell, SC2 units start from 1200 polys to 8K polys, WC3 ones started from 200 polys to 800polys max, so... not sure you want that, cause seriously, look at those trees, they are just ugly. If you want that, just play WC3 again
Anyway, just saying, hope these Heroes Of the Storm Alpha models are in.
The doomguard, skeleton and atropos from dota 1 seems HD on that screenshot + Traysent said about all 4 heroes for each race (+16) i think it's a good start. The main lacking elements in sc2 are spell effects, if we can get some improved wc3 aura, buff models + hopefuly some assets from B-Dota map with this pack it will be just great and realy refreshing. Especialy for medieval rpg maps which are highly popular. (I want finish mine honestly but stuck on making spells cuz of lack of assets)
Wc3 names please, I am pretty tired of people that for expample calls Grommash "Axe", the name correct is Voidwalker, I know it because I bought wc3 on August 2014 and I am still here to play it with some awesome custom campaigns like the dwarven campaign of the ones of Outsider :)
If Blizzard actually cared they'd just combine the fucking editor with Heroes of the Storm already and utilize the THOUSANDS OF ALREADY AVAILABLE HD TEXTURED, FULLY DETAILED CHARACTER, NPC, TILESET, AND DOODAD MODELS THAT ARE THERE.
Armies of Azeroth is light years ahead of Blizzard maybe Blizz is realizing this models so Armies of Azeroth will not steal their thunder !!! just saying!
It looking great i agree, just dont like when someone trying to neglect signs of attention from Blizzard to modding community. Having WAA is great, having official resources even better.

I don't think that would make sense to lose a shitton of time on doing Super HD remakes of WC3 Units to put on SC2, it makes more sense on Heroes of the Storm that has waaay better graphics of WAA (O RLY ??)
I think that would be good if they will use some of that if they are good enough, this would save them a lot of time

I have to say ,WAA has better models and High-Poly than those wc 3 in sc 2 models. This is just ugly illusion ^^
