Was just watching Husky play the sc1 campaigns, the third or fourth with the tps mechanic, and I got the idea of set camera angles similar to RE games. Really the camera is a hindrance in sc2 so far, it gets stuck on ramps and it cuts through buildings. What if there were set camera angles and it was a shooter much like RE games. Which then got me to thinking why not recreate RE Outbreak.
The gist of RE Outbreak is you're one of the citizens of a city that's being swarmed by zombies, zerg, and you and a group of people band together, or not, to escape before the city is blown up. If the camera angles are used it could make the city feel really huge in a full size map. So basically there are multiple characters to choose from, ranging from skilled shooters to useless college students(who aren't so useless when they can carry all the items for the team due to a bigger inventory). Some may be better hand to hand or excellent shots. So the group of people go around the town ranging from rooftops to city streets trying to escape. Zombies, zerg, are everywhere on the lower streets and quite abundant if followed up a roof. Supplies are limited so use anything found throughout the city. There are different scenarios that start the players off in a different location with multiple ways to beat the scenario.
