- each player gets a base and a small army, with new units spawning every so often (autospawn)
- No upgrading
- You gain the units you kill ( meaning every units you "kill" just becomes part of your army)
- Capture points ( holding the points increase your units spawn rate)
- Artifacts ( the only way to upgrade your army is to obtain artifacts, so getting an artifact will say give you roaches instead of lings)
- Over time new areas/artifacts/capture points become available
- At random, one player will gain a buff and another will gain a debuff, but only when triggered ( say someone has held the same point for 5min which will trigger the buffs, someone gets a debuff and a random player gets a good buff)
- Random bad things ( say you go to get an artifact and fight for it and win it, but instead of upgrading your units, it downgrades them, or kills some of them)
- The goal would be to eliminate the other players
- special things ( for controlling a point for a certain amount of time, you get something special like creep in a small area or a turret or something)
- balance of power ( No 1 team can control anything for to long, after a certain amount of time debuffs kick in, making it impossible to hold out against other players)
This is just my first thought into it and i'm definitely open to new ideas. Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome
Yes it is a lot like DoW ( one of my favorite games, and like arithi basin if you play wow)
and yes you get a hero, and the heros do not change teams if they are killed
