I was not sure if this goes here (considering it says requests) or somewhere else...
I was given permission by Fingolgin at Hiveworkshop to Convert his models if the following Pack I would Like them Animated if possible and (i know there are two others posted by me but I feel they should be redone with his following instructions)
Following post from Pm on Hiveworkshop.
The ships have a second material which is unshaded, used for the lights and windows. It also has one material that has teamcolor, and one which has alpha, and they are used on different parts of the model. If you use only one material, there will be teamcolor in all the areas that are supposed to be transparent, and that looks bad.
The MTT and the Droid Gunship however, only use one material, so those should be easy.
It is recommended to find the resources to do something before getting the go ahead.
WC3 models should not be too difficult to port if you can import them into the SC2 art tools. That however could be quite difficult due to the age of WC3 and the tools WC3 modellers use. Unless the models pushed some limits of the WC3 engine there should be minimal to no visible artefacts from porting as the M3 format supports almost everything WC3 did in a slightly different format. The main differences come from limits where in theory there can exist models in WC3 which cannot be directly ported to SC2 without input from an expert modeller.
the reason I have asked if someone can help is I have tried with these models but they come out in the map editor with only a blue texture
if i recall someone told me to download a program that creat a "normal Texture" or something like that. but i could not download do to the fact that my computer detected a virus on that program software
I would like to join request GPS2. However, a little bit other models are necessary for me. Namely models on motives Warhammer 40000 from a site xgm.guru. The author of these models IronMaiden not against converting the works in SC2, but to be engaged in it is not going. Therefore, I would like to ask the help for fashion designers of this site. In case someone will agree to help, I shall transfer all necessary models any way convenient for you. To avoid problems with search and language.
