Hi there, i'm not sure if you noticed, but Fleet Assault DOES have a scoreboard ranking system in place(hold TAB to see scoreboard/ranks, and hover over player names to see overall score). You can also view the full rank list in the Help section(F12).

I loved your game. I want to play it again, but it never pops up in the fun or not system. Surely I didn't see the scoreboard and ranks. I'll check it next time I play it. Anyway, nice game. ;)
+ Trapped in Hell Berkut3
+ Racing Tower Defense
+ Zealots vs Zerglings
+ Marines split challenge: Split your marines vs banelings!
: Moonlords
I guess I have to add more intro stuff for new players because you seem to have missed even the big flashing buttons not just the tips.
You probably failed pretty badly quite early in the game - sorry for the bad experience but I never thought players would miss that :/
I take that from "rewards:0" because one of the buttons is "rewards".

Haha thanks. Any personal feedback you want to give me?
You'll probably hate me for saying this, but i think there needs to be a score for originality. There are just too many maps out there that are just remakes and copies of old maps. This is one of the things i consider to be ruining the custom maps scene on SC2, as too many players just expect maps to be similar to older games, thus making them unable to adapt to newer concepts. Are you all not bored of seeing the same old crap dominating page 1?

I think we reached the 4th zerg base. I have only rated your map once. You should wait until I play the map more times in order to get a more accurate rating.

As long as they are fun... Too repetitive games may end not being as fun as some other original games.
When is next EU map night? I normally play on NA server(though i have EU account), and i live in Australia. You'll have to let me know what time that is based on GST +10 timezone.
And some ratings/feedback for the maps we played at EU Map Nights:
+ Bomberbot
+ StarHammer 40k
Stalkers seem to be op.
+ RuneCraft
You may want to change the death model for all units to their default low quality one. By doing this I reduced most of the lag in my CoreFight map (private test version, not the published one).
Last week I told you spell-only builds seemed to not be feasible. But today it seemed like spells were op in late game. Maybe you should weaken them and remove feedback ability.
I tried a zerg-melee build and it worked pretty nicely. But there were some points when I got forced to research air upgrades, which were useless for my build.
I tested about 5 maps today by "Fun or not" thing and only once I'm was able to select "fun" or "not". So that system doesn't really work.
Also every map I test in battle.net I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. It doesn't help when you start some random tower defense and there are huge amount of different type of towers to build and you have no idea how game basic mechanics work. So please dear mappers: Make maps that are very easy to understand!

It's a big deal to make games easy to learn. I've seen some of them which are quite complicated ones. Map makers need to put some attention at making their maps easy to learn, or at least make some kind of tutorial to teach new player to play their game. On the other hand, you can't pretend to fully learn how to play a game by just playing it once. It may require you some tries. ;)
As we didn't got enough player to play any map at EU Map Nights, I'll review the games I played at the Fun or Not room.
+ Hero Attack:
I'm starting to like this DotA like game. It has some epic music for each of the available terrains. The terrains aren't too good though. I think its the weird lighting which makes it look cartoonish.
+ Ostrov TD:
Lacks content and different strategies. I felt all players were making the same towers all the time. Terrain is too simple, there's not texture work. UI was too big and intrusive. Waves info panel didn't have all the info needed. When there was an invisible air wave comming, it only described the wave as invisible.
+ Star Strikers:
This is one of my favourites games in bnet. There is a bug when the host player leaves the game while loading it, or gets dropped. The game won't detect this player is gone. The AI won't control it and players won't be able to select the game modes.
The problem here, is even though we mappers try to make players have an easier time understanding the game, it's not gonna do peanuts if the players themselves don't try to learn the game properly. Over the past year i've tried MANY MANY different ways to get idiots(yes, i'll term them so) to learn to play the game. I did everything from loading screen tutorials, game manual, in-game screen tutorials, and hands-on tutorials(forcefully). And STILL i have idiots telling me that they don't know how to play. What would you have us do? I've even tried getting some players to make tutorials in the perspective of a newbies, but nooooo, that didn't help too.
As IliIilI pointed out, the main issue is that most ppl just give up after the first try. They think they're SOOOO smart that they can understand a complex game WITHOUT reading the tutorial in the first get go. I would say the problem lies not with the mappers, but the players themselves.
I've experienced several times aswell, that new players skip the tutorial of my map and go straight to the hard difficulty, fails at first creep (its a TD) and complains about the poor quality of the map.
I didn't even bother to answer when they said that.
You should consider changing the color of the total column to something like red, instead of blue. It's kinda hard to read.
I've found that it's my ATI drivers which are displaying red bold font as blue. That's weird!!
I changed the color so it will be displayed as red in normal computers, not mine.
Your map isn't published in EU servers. Sorry.
+ BomberBot T1
+ Peepmode Antiga Shipyard [OBS KOTH 1v1]
